  1. And for Warnocks reaction, definetly worth it.
  2. Can pull of some brilliant tackles, maybe underated slightly in the past due to him being more defensive, pity hes 30 (I think) but still a better option than Gareth Barry for the next couple of years internationally, what I'd do to see Owen Hargreaves fit again.
  3. Not really sure how there finances are to be honest, but if they could afford to keep him about he can certainly be more than useful for a few more years, especially if they're serious about bringing through youth.
  4. English folk supporting English teams shocker.
  5. great footballer, but im well and truly sick of the medias love in with him and scholes.
  6. Its very interesting seeing how SAf has reacted throughout all this, very unusual.
  7. Its going to have to be be one tough individual taking over when SAF leaves, if the situation doesnt improve. Even if the club was fine financially the pressure would be unbearable.
  8. Aiden Mcgeady wonderkid? how old is the nationality challenged git now?
  9. Rubbish. England enjoy spanking Scotland as much as we enjoy beating them. They don't even come close to Argentina, France or Germany. No. Deep down the English would rather beat Scotland than any other side in the world but their sheer desperation to be recognised as a world force would have them pretend to prefer beating those sides over us. It's like Rangers wanting to beat Barca and Manure. We would get more respect in European and world terms for beating clubs like those but deep down we would rather thrash Celtc. I can honestly say in my experience England fans are totally indifferent to the fortunes of the Scottish team.
  10. Historically, I agree mate - can't argue with facts. Current European Champions... Barcelona. But hey, three English teams got to the quarter finals. Incorrect - Last year, 4 English teams made it to the Quarters and 3 English teams made it to the semi-finals, one to the final. In 2008, - 4 Englsh teams in the quarter finals, 3 in the semi-finals and an all Englsih final. In 2007 - 3 English teams made it to the Quarters and 3 English teams made it to the semi-finals, one to the final. That is why people are saying EPL is dominant these days. Ach I'm bored with all this. Premiership isn't the league it's made out to be, but I don't expect the English to realise this. They are too busy spunking over their league, and 1966... yawn. An interesting time in the debate for you to become bored. Also, I'm not English, I'm from Larkhall. I live in England now and I can assure you I hate the English more than anyone. Why choose to live here if you hate us so much? We'd have to define what makes a league strong i suppose; but going on entertainment value, La liga everytime for me.
  11. A lot of shite being spouted about footballers as 'role models' recently. I think kids pay attention to and care about a footballers personal life as much as I do i.e not in the slightest, its all about what they do on the pitch.
  12. To me it just looks like Mowbray desperetly tryin to look like he knows whats hes doing.
  13. im going down next month, hope to take the wee man to his first premiership match. the new stadium looks magic hopefully he'l find it fantastic you get the great sort of atmosphere you tend to find in cities with the one major club.
  14. Hull City, definetly worth heading for a game if you ever find yourself in Yorkshire.
