Airdrie a great club. Lots of class unlike all the SPL clubs.

Just read through the accounts (as much as I understand them...) and this thread, and I'm reasonably positive about the accounts. They're not brilliant, nobody expected them to be. They're a hell of a lot better than some people have been telling us they were going to be.
I hope the Rangers fans who have been telling us we're going bust will have a good think about where they're getting their information, and perhaps not be so quick to jump at info from the same places/people in future...

My opinion is that we are missing the big picture here. Our club has become a war zone due to the negligent and infantile behaviour of the ''officers'' of our great club, both old and new and including Rangers men sniping on the side lines. Leaks to the mhedia, lies, revisionism, mistruths, half truths, innuendo, public slanging matches, leading fan to turn on fan. We are being made a laughing stock by the officers of our club and others. It's an absolute disgrace and our leaders should be ashamed of themselves. As I intimated on another thread, we the fans have both supported and bankrolled the club to record levels, in a time when most can ill afford to and we can hold our heads high for that, but I cannot say the same for our leaders. They have taken us for granted and treated us with utter contempt. Without us, there would be no club. We are the people who make our club sustainable and great. We deserve not just better, but the best. By our actions, the record support we have given, both in number and financially and the loyalty we have shown, will not have gone unnoticed. We will have drawn attention from a better class of investor as we ARE a great investment and the sooner we secure the investor that we truly deserve the better. Those who should have known better, those who caused this calamity, every last one of them, should hang their heads in shame and apologise to the fans, because without our support they are nothing and nobodies in my eyes! As fans, we must rise above the petty squabbling of our leaders. Make our feelings known that we are not happy with any of them. Let them know of the shame that they have brought on our club and that the rot stops NOW, because one day and maybe sooner than later, WE are the ones who can break every last one them and very simply too.

Ally has been great for Rangers - no doubt at all. As a player and a personality and as a manager in some very tough times recently. Nevertheless his managerial record is spotty. He has won the 3rd division after a rough start and in difficult circumstances. The football though was dire at times and the part time and amateur opposition made to look like Barcelona too often. His record in the SPL, CL and Europa qualifiers is awful.
He deserves the chance of another season, but if things do not improve football wise he should resign. He has a large budget and better facilities than any team in Scotland. Only Celtic has a higher wage bill.
His fate is in his hands.

When you think of the Big Tax Case verdict and now this, Timmy are besides themselves. Add to that all the biased mhedia too. All the SPL Board members and Club Chairmen and supporters.

Great team performance tonight. Made me proud. How many SPL teams with a bunch of teenagers could beat M'well - their league leaders?

Ally is now on a short leash.
Results must begin to improve and the standard of play.
Sure there are certain circumstances like players brought in on short notice, no real preseason, etc., but nevertheless Ally needs to get things going quickly.
The players seem nervous and the tactics are woeful. Far too defensive and too much square passing and back passing, then a blooter to no-one.. No real up tempo play and a lack of guile.

Still think this team needs more games. We had a very small if any preseason and the players do not look match fit. Black, Kyle and Sandanza will benefit from more games.
Our defence looked poor. Hegarty was always getting skinned at RB. The big Brazilian CH looks slow. Bocanegra looks disinterested. Broadfoot is not a LB.
Our midfield created very few if any chances.
The team was very mediocre and Falkirk was a big disappointment as I expected more from them at home.
Should progress easily at Ibrox.

We do everything so slowly - no -pace in our build up until they score.
We clearly lack quality going forward apart from Aluko and Jelavic.
We have needed another striker for ages yet we are no nearer signing one. That cost us today - maybe the title.
Bartley should not be playing at RB when we have McMillan available. He is clumsy and no help in overlapping and was poor at their goal today as was Goian.
