  1. ?3M would be better spent elsewhere
  2. Well done tho - all we ask is honesty and consistancy It was a stone-wall penalty kick, but in his defence the linesman on that side offered no help. Good on him for admitting it tho
  3. For me the biggest plus at the mo is the apparent fitness of the side, to continue at the pace we did to the final whistle on Sunday, 1-0 down on a ploughed field of a pitch was incredible. We were pushing forward while the tims were struggling to keep up with us, i only wish the game couldve went on for another 10 mins! Perhaps the gruelling training sessions are finally paying off, coupled with a confident side playing in a formation that suits them. Quiet optimism for the future from me
  4. Yeah I hate BLT's. I'm more of a chicken or turkey man and i hate tomatoes! BFT was the basic fitness test, 1.5 miles as a squad then 1.5 miles at your best time, depending on age you had 10 min 30 sec to complete on the solo run. CFT was Combat Fitness Test, 8 miles carrying 35lb in weight and your rifle in 2 hours, this varied as did the weight depending on which regiment you were with at the time. I'm sure that's all changed now though! It has all changed now....but they are bringing it back. It will be called OFT - Operational Fitness Test and should be hitting us in about a year. Lots of rumours as to what it actually entails, but on the trials, there was loads of lifting etc involved :o and 72% of people involved failed! Incidentally - the format of the new tests is in the hands of the lawyers - something to do with going against Health & Safety, and Manual Handling Guidelines.... who knows?
  5. Disagree mate - he suckered Smithy into a late tackle, that for me was a stone-waller. I know how upset i wouldve been had that been us...and not given
  6. And we need to add that the police probe into him on the last occaision was NOT because he "Blessed" himself but because of the w**ker gesture he made towards the Gers fans - i was there and thats what got the Fans upset. But as for the last match, he made no such gesture - just blessed himself, and i care not about that. He is free do do that if he wishes
  7. Would do us nicley, but i just cant see it happening

  9. Yeah its compulsary for me to do it annually too. Its shuttle runs between 2 cones 20 metres apart - gradually increasing pace with each level

  11. He had the most blatant dive imagineable in his last Euro outing, so bad that it featured on SoccerAM's "Why?" slot accompanied by the theme from Platoon.... absolutely shocking, i dont want any buddy with that mentality at Ibrox
  12. They have been 2 of our most consistent players this season - no doubt, but in the end it was a mistake. We all make them, it just so happens the both made their mistakes at the same time, and the luck Sellik are carrying at the moment, thats all it took for them to punish us. AM wasnt fazed by his mistake and kept his head up, making crucial saves that kept us in the hunt - the save from Mcgeady in particular. Stevie battled like we knew he would, a steep learning curve but they will both get there

  18. No i think itll take the rest of the season before we can really make a clear judgement on PLG. His settling in period was not comfortable watching but i think we are turning a corner. The players look happier with the 4-4-2 formation, and they also look fitter. We played football on an almost unplayable surface today, and i think fitness played a big part - only wish the game couldve gone on for 10 mins more! the PLG effect is beginning to pay off, remember the squad we have isnt the best, but we still played "the best team in Scotland" clean off the park. Yes we need to strengthen but January is a tough time to sign the right guys, I think we really need to give PLG til after the summer to see how his squad, and therefor he himself, does. just my opinion
