Though the money in the Europa League isn't that great my understanding is that by getting into Europe we will increase our sponsorship and advertising revenue, something that is holding us back just now. Our finances have started from the bottom, just like the team, and we have to build them up just like the team. A lot of people cutting their nose off to spite their face. Yeah that lot might have been a catalyst in the making of these laws but they won't go away if we continually perpetuate it.
