I think we could get a draw, but I don't have any realistic expectation that we beat them. If we go through a season without beating them we don't deserve to win a league tbh.
Bollocks.
I'd take getting beat in every Old Firm league game till end of time if we won the league every year. Whoever is top at end of the season, deserves it.

Same.
Suspect we’ll be minus Ridvan, Sterling, Danilo, Cortes, Sima, McCausland + we usually get a wee surprise after a break like Lawrence or Roofe getting injured in training.
I suspect we’ll see…
Butland
Tav Goldson Souttar Borna
Lundstram Diomande
Cantwell
Matondo Dessers Silva
Those in bold giving me the fear in a title race.
Don't think I've ever seen Matondo do anything well on the right wing either, absolutely useless unless played on the left.

Seems it’s the Rangers way, remember way back to the Ibrox title decider with Aberdeen, literally finished the season with I think it was 8 fit players, we had players on the pitch who played the full 90 minutes then came out on crutches for the lap of honour lol
Did we not play something like 6 CB's in a game once that season too?

Tav has played over 4200 minutes this season.
Cant find any Prem players that are close to that. Rice and Fernandez who have played the most minutes for Arsenal and Utd under 3500.
Pep and Klopp rotate even more.
Our fixture list and lack of ability to rotate has been brutal.
Tav is superhuman. But it’s not surprising we look fucked and are picking up injuries left, right and centre.
We’ve been picking up injuries far before any fixture pile-up.

Disagree about other teams etc, we played a game on average every 4.5days for the whole of the seville season, apart from mid season break the players had absolutely no time to recover from niggles, strains etc, and our squad isnt as big as these other teams (don't know many other teams that played 65 games in 10months)
I think the team had more mentally checked out with gio rather than physically, the CL doings, the morelos incident, the piggery humping, barely any new signings doing it or fit to play and guys like morelos and kent being the way they were, this down to gio losing the dressing room by not being a big enough manager to do whay had to be done with guys like morelos and kent
4 players played more than 50 games. It’s hardly David Weir and Cuellar.

Whos excused it, we bought poorly, we didnt get rid of wasters like your wee lover kent and morelos and we suffered
But don't act like my point isnt viable we played 65 games from 31st july to 22nd may in the seville season
Giving them 3 weeks off then battering them with a massive pre season would have been just as damaging, as i said (and conveniently ignored) when gerrard ran them into the ground in dubai during the winter break we came back and were a fucking shambles
Hammering players mid season is hardly the same in getting the fitness up in pre-season.
Gio fucked it fitness-wise wether that was through naivety in thinking players would retain their fitness during their break or not pushing them enough in pre-season that's the reality.
You can go on about 65 games all you want, other teams do it and still knock their pans in during pre-season.

Surely any benefit of a good pre season is long gone and now has no bearing at this time of the season?
Nah, after you build up that fitness it's maintenance, but with games coming thick and fast you don't get the time to do any sort of real fitness work as focus needs to be one recovery and tactics.
It's like the difference between Naismith when he missed a pre-season injured and when he was fit. Players are always playing catch-up after that.

Nah im no having theres a better game than triple triad, nope i refuse to believe it and wont accept it lol
Will give it a bash at some point
If you're hammering through the story go for it, if you're going to do everything I'd play it alongside another game though.
I definitely didn't believe it before I played it either. Up there with Gwent. Gold Saucer was incredible too.

You done rebirth yet? My boy has finished it so ive got it now, not installed it yet, dunno if i have it in me to start from scratch character wise again lol
The main stuff is great, but I got a bit burned out doing all the side stuff. If you're a FF7 fan you'll still really enjoy it as they've added enough to the battle system that it feels the same but different and I was a big fan of all the expanding to the story they've done. Plus the new characters play really well too.
The card game is even better than FF8's.

The 3 remakes they have done have been good, remake of 3 got a lot of hate but i thought it was alright
2 and 4 were better though, 4 was the best game they have made in the series
Think the problem with 3 was it was a bit rushed and half arsed.

The former obviously matters more but being able to replace him doesn't guarantee anything.
Of course it doesn't I just don't think they'd be 12 points worse with a replacement.

He's scored more than half of their goals. It would be very close for third without him.
Are we talking about him being injured and nobody else being in or sold and replaced?

Debatable. Based on Xg they are massively over performing. 16 points better off than expected. Shankland will be a major part of that.
It's not like if you take Shankland out of the team that everything disappears though, someone else is in his place albeit probably not as good they'd still be getting goals/assists. They're 11 points ahead of 4th place, I don't think they lose 12 points without Shankland.

Helped a lot with a make the difference player in Shankland.
Shankland has been the difference between 5th or 6th and being relatively comfortably 3rd.
Think they're recruiting well enough that they'll not get the same quality as Shankland but still be comfortably 3rd next year again. I think they'd still be 3rd without Shankland this season.

See if 6 didn't have the resident evil name, and was called something like "bio warfare attack" or some shit like that with non resident evil characters it would be absolutely fine, it's actually a fine game on its own
Its just not fucking resident evil lol
Aye sheva was a pain in the arse sometimes in 5, AI co-op must be much better nowadays if they remade it
Should be next in line for the remake treatment, although I'm hoping for a Code Veronica one first.

Bought resi 5 and 6 on the sale, 4 quid each, didnt play them originally as i missed the ps3 era due to going out of gaming for a good while
5 was decent enough, but 6 is a struggle, apart from the characters, and the virus type, theres literally fuck all resident evil about it
The jump scares and horror aspect is replaced with just constant action, there's literally a part where your driving a car and chasing someone, fucks that all about lol
5 was decent but always seemed like a downgrade from 4 and the buddy AI was absolutely horrendous with how often they'd get themselves killed.
6 is just a stain on the series.

If Sima is back after the international break or even a couple of weeks after it then my confidence in getting the title over the line will triple.
It would be huge to get him back
Don't think anyone coming back from long term injuries will offer much for a while unfortunately, maybe the last couple of games. But at this point I suppose we just need bodies.

Hopefully they do fuck all, go bust and end up a dumping field.
Too many short memories
To be honest I'm just thinking of ourselves with hoping they do better, I'd rather we didn't get dragged down to playing loads of qualifiers cause the rest of Scottish football is shite in Europe.

Been a massive turnaround in the last few months from them.
As much as it pains me to say it Naismith has been a very good manager for them since he's properly settled in as permanent.
Honestly thought it was a mistake when he got the job in stark contrast to Barry Robson who seemed a dead cert to kick on.

Hearts signed Spittal and Penrice on pre-contracts
Hearts are just going to keep opening up the gap between them and the rest I think. They seem to be run infinitely better than the other bigger clubs like Hibs and Aberdeen.
Hopefully they can do a bit better in Europe going forward.

Have we even really seen him at RB? Didn't he have those weird vision problems probably starting on his short appearances there?
