I laughed a good few times, thought it was funny and felt nostalgic. He's got balls of steel, and the supporting girl was great too.
Problem for me was that the brutality of the humour (which is a rare treat these days) was eventually overshadowed by the weird, out of place woke messages. And I say this as someone who hates the people he's actually making fun of. I couldn't just have a laugh for 90 minutes without being lectured and judged.
He essentially sacrificed the Borat character on the woke altar to allow Sacha Baron Cohen to virtue signal.
I just seen the comments from Gerrard on YouTube regarding Roofe being a "coup'. Gerrard said he's been watching him since his days at Oxford. Obviously very highly rated by our manager and coaching staff.
