  1. I think there is a place. after all the feet are the bare tools the players use to play the sport, so of course they have to be taken care of. for example you couldn't expect a builder to work well if his basic tools were in poor shape

jcd lost his insoles and was out constantly for months he got them back about christmas time and hardly misssed another match.

the answer to the question is yes i would imagine we already look at this quite closley.

  2. One player who will not be sold by Rangers is Scotland international Lee McCulloch who has been the subject of speculation over a return to the English Premier League with Stoke City.

"Stoke have never approached us about Lee McCulloch and he's not going anywhere anyway," insisted Smith. "As long as he is happy to stay at Rangers, then I'm delighted to have him."

Thats the point Walter, he's pish! You just can't see it!

lee misses the epl i would not bet on him wanting to stay so much.

  3. I think the most important position to fill is attacking midfielder, possibly right-sided or at least effective, not just comfortable, there.

Next I think is right back or centre back, perhaps both.

After that, I don't think we need much.

Do you agree with the above? If not, why?

    right winger

    centre midfield

    centre half

attacking fullback either side with whittaker covering the other side.

  4. I see Rangers fitness coach Adam Owen has been sent to Milan to study how AC can keep their players playing till they're 40.

Jesus! Brewster and Sherringham for Rangers then eh??..Might coax Bruce and Ince out of retirement

I remember reading years ago that it is the players who put in the work in their early years that end up having prolonged careers. The example being used was none other than Gordon Strachan. He was apparently one of those people who enjoyed the training and put a lot of work in. As we know, despite being a high energy type player, he played into his late thirties. Most though have the attitude, 'I'll put the real graft in when I'm older'...too late by then.

and ended up with new hips at 50

  5. I think Furman is almost ready to make the step up into the squad, didnt look out of place when he came on for Thomson toward the end of the season, the opposition slips my mind but he was always trying to get involved, always trying to get forward and can pick out a decent pass.

Flecks a difficult one though, id atleast have him on the bench against your st mirrens & the like, best to be patient with him.

opposition was dundee utd and he did do well.

  6. Would it not be better to see Furman and Fleck or do you think they are not ready yet?

their is a good case for furman and fleck. but i fear the crowd at ibrox would destroy them. this season macgregor and more so hutton were still taking abuse at ibrox fairly regularily.

if they are good enough they will get their chance.
