Our squad is already threadbare and running on empty. A night off to put the feet up and avoid further injuries on what would have been a very wet and slippy Ibrox pitch isn’t the worst preparation for a game against the mhanks. On a moral level and taking the county team bus out of it… is it really worth risking the lives of thousands of bears, bearettes and county fans presently stuck on the a9… not really.

The toughest/best defender that Lammers comes up against is... Sam Lammers. -

Getting to the knockouts was the target for Europe. Anything else is ultimately a bonus, so bring on whoever we get. -

At this point it’s too far gone. It’s all about self serving and making as much money as possible. Sporting integrity is a distant memory. All such a move would do is kill off the CL and UEFA, giving the “elite” teams the opportunity to create their much desired super league. UEFA know the power balance has shifted… this revamp is a hollow attempt at appeasing those who actually run football… the “elite” clubs and tv networks. -

Feyenoord seem eternally destined to draw teams from Rome. 😂 -
Yeah the battery isn’t ideal, even when running like for like power settings… but I’m personally always near a socket and I don’t tend to play for more than an hour or 2 at most anyway. The latest update from ASUS does have some new features that help increase battery life though. Touch wood I’ve not had any issues with the SD card slot, however there is claims it’s been addressed or at-least minimised. If it does break it’ll just encourage me to upgrade the SSD. The OS defo isn’t as a smooth since as you said it’s just windows, opposed to a modified version of Linux that’s purpose built for the deck. But it’s a trade off I’m willing to live with for the wider support. Having gamed on PC for years a lot of my games aren’t on steam or don’t run well on Linux. The screen is great, I didn’t think 1080p would be much of a benefit over 800p on such a small screen but it’s very nice. The real showsteeler is the inclusion of VRR though. It’s a literal game changer. Ultimately you can’t go wrong with either as whilst similar they are also very different. It’s just whatever fits your personal needs better. Both are fantastic little machines. I’m pretty fortunate that I have access to both, although the missus absolutely loves her deck so there’s not many opportunities for me to pinch it!

Missus has the 512gb OLED and I have a ROG Ally. They actually compliment each other very well! It’s a fantastic emulator and the screen is incredible. But I don’t like being restricted to steamOS, even if it is a buttery smooth experience. ROG ally can be a bit of a pain to use but to Asus’s credit they are making significant strides. But the greater software support and freedom to use games pass natively without having to rely on streaming is worth the gripes.

The January transfer window will likely decide who wins the league

They’ll never go back outside of the USA. Despite the sometimes gritty and serious nature of the games…The series at its very base is a spoof/parody of American culture. What makes GTA great isn’t just the cars, guns and the physical cities they use… loads of games offer that - it’s the writing, the humour, the stories and the characters. They’ve got a winning formula that works extremely well because the world is dominated by American politics, American current events, America movies/tv shows and America music. Their source material is literally never ending. Ultimately that formula wouldn’t translate to a game set in London, Tokyo or Paris. You’d likely lose what makes it GTA… it would just be another GTA clone. I know DMA(Rockstar North) released some UK expansion packs in the very early days… but they were a far smaller studio back then who were still trying to figure out what GTA was actually supposed to be. These days the expectations and pressures are simply on another level.

Roofe will manage to stay fit and bang in the goals. We will then re-sign him on a bumper contract and he will immediately suffer a long term injury.

Nah I’ve not played it. Not really a fan of turn based combat either to be honest!

BG3 was released on PS5 over 3 months ago. Xbox version was delayed because of the series S version needing more development time.
