  1. Haha, brilliant. one day it will end up like Westworld or Total Recall and our ancestors will be able to play with the Legends..."Swing it in Coops, In there harder Butcher, ...shite ball Vanoli"
  2. The title is just splitting hairs, the words inside are what count - well, that and ensuring the fans' perspective is put out there. Looking forward to having a book for holiday soon and pleased to hear there are future installments lined up, obviously a lot of hard work by a number of people has gone in to this project.
  3. Painful seeing another thread like this so soon, don't think any of us are in any doubt that we are heading towards the end now, and perhaps some peace for Gazza, its awfully sad and must be hell for his loved one's.
  4. This looks good, has a Hologram feature, first time any club has used this type of app supposedly
  5. Excellent news, from what I know thus far I am pretty happy to give them a chance, proceeding with some caution of course.
  6. What is your take on the Easdale involvement Host?
  7. Pressed home and played on the obvious lack of confidence in the SFA & SPL, Regan & Doncaster. Marshalled the SFL clubs more proficiently, they were telling Longmuir one thing and then doing the opposite. Widened his appeal to fans of other clubs, particularly in the SPL where neither Regan nor Doncaster have much support. Had he produced a workable and exciting League reconstruction plan that would have made all the difference, what he produced was no more imaginative nor appealling than what was proffered elsewhere. Finally get a wee bit down and dirty, which was pretty much the way they done him over in the end. I'll come back at a later point with finer details but these are the less technical aspects which could have been developed easily.
  8. Some people may know a little about them but I don't see the Easdales running Rangers like a bus company, as others have mentioned many businesses in the west of Scotland have their origins in slightly murky waters. Can understand people being concerned but there is a danger we are panic-starting, lots of people looking in - , maybe we should take a step back and see what develops here with Easdale before condemning anyone outright?
  9. Hi mate, was offline there, apologies. Last Spring/Summer as not only Doncaster but Regan were up shit creek he was the man with the paddle - without his intervention the game as a whole seemingly faced total disaster. If not blessed with real power at the time he was certainly in possession of a great bargaining hand to start with, I feel he has whittled his advantage down over the months since to a degree where any chance of 'moving the game forward' (something I know he was keen to do) has gone. Believe me he will not be without regrets, should have pressed on when he had the bit between his teeth. I myself regret he was unable to progress the game as a whole and I view that as his failure given the opportunity he had - No, it wouldn't have been easy but it was definitely possible...he fell some way short I'm afraid and lost the trust of those in charge at Ibrox (my opinion, as mentioned Green leaving was the final nail). ....Subsequently any chance of him holding a position with Rangers must surely now be gone.
  10. Put differences aside for charity and a neat summer read, sounds good, I'm in.
  11. Yes, I can see that being the case, and although I agree he carries dignity with him he hasn't much credence left with regards to securing the second most important position in our game, after our Manager. Pity really. As TPWA noted, I'd sooner have Green back but thought I'd fling a couple of alternative names out there as there appears to be a little tunnel vision with some Bears as far as the hapless Longmuir is concerned, if Charles doesn't return we need to expand our horizons a little further from home for sure.
  12. Agree, its been a farce but I think some folk on here are underestimating the position Longmuir found himself in early last season, he dithered and lost out big time from a position of real strength against a weak and exposed Executive who was heavily under fire. I'm not convinced his CV is suitable for our club either, we need to be aiming higher than an administrator who ran the smallest office in Scottish Football, there must be plenty better options out there.
  13. Had no idea this guy was still so popular with our support, fair play but not for me at all - a failure. Frank Arnesen or perhaps Trevor Steven for me, real football men with a brain who would have a couple of years to settle in before our challenge really begins.
  14. Yet 12 months ago he was the shining light, being tipped on FF and in print for a top job should the SPL collapse. The damage was done far earlier in the process when he couldn't get his SFL clubs to back him and the flip-flopping which surrounded the process. I'd heard one rumour as to why this happened and it concerned a lack of support from ourselves, don't have a clue whether true or not but may well kibosh any chances of him coming to Ibrox.
  15. Partly, his decline was painful and long after being so positive this time last year, a pity really. And if Dung and the div 1 chairman stifled him then Lawell will eat DL for breakfast, I'd much rather CG came back though he did make some mistakes.
