ofc we would. Whilst its never nice to lose your best players we have to get better at moving players on when their value is highest and reinvest to strengthen the overall team. At 31 £15m cant be sniffed at. Just a shame he wasnt called up to England squad as we probably could have added another few £m to that figure. It also shows to top players who have perhaps fallen out of favour we offer a good springboard to relaunch their careers so could lead to similar deals in the future. In saying that i will be gutted to see him leave if/when it happens.

I'm concerned for all games. Not just by Dessers shite performances but the actual physical state of our squad. We looked absolutely dead on our feet at 60 minutes with nothing in the engine and the gaffer couldn't make subs as we are the walking wounded. It's going to take an incredible effort by all involved including the medical staff to get over the line.

Given he knows he is out the door come the end of the season Im not convinced he is going to risk injury to run through a brick wall for us which is exactly what we need currently. We need players willing to push themselves to the limit. Danilo looked like he was going to be that guy putting himself where it hurt and took a sore one for it. Dessers looks like he just isnt interested half the time and well he is just a bit pish. Basically we are fucked up front.

I wanted the win but seeing just how dead on our feet we looked after they scored my heart sank. We genuinely looked like we didn't have the energy to find another gear to get back into it. Which if we are honest isnt surprising given some of those players have played a shit ton of football and others have been out either injured or unused until now. I just hope we have enough in our tank to get a result on Sunday then recharge and push for the title. A lot of football still to be played

give us their front three and we beat them comfortably. That is where our main issue is. Yes we have the odd calamity in terms of mistakes in defence but that is invited onto us by our front 3s inability to hold the ball up and convert chances when they come along. Dessers and Silva should be embarrassed with that tonight. Silva had his bottom lip out for the majority of the match and looked like he was feeling sorry for himself. Dessers well I dont expect anything from the guy but even with that felt let down by an absolute no show, he offered fuck all. absolutely atrocious that he has made a career from the game.
