To be fair, as much as I agree that we're run by dinosaurs, if you put the best Scottish players back into the Scottish leagues, it wouldn't be that bad. As soon as any Scottish player has a good season they're snapped up by an English club and often disappear into the Championsip or League 1.

Leaving a man up is just common sense. Chance of a counter attack, maybe win a freekick to take the pressure off the defence, or hold it up and wait for support.
