Feel hugely let down by the board. There wasn’t all too much in the league and even though it was a big long shot we still weren’t out of the race. Board have clearly already given up on this season by making this appointment and are just trying to see it out. I get that we’re obviously not swimming in money but surely there must have been plenty of experienced managers willing to take the role till the end of the season and make us a lot more solid in the process. Wouldn’t even need to be an expensive appointment, there’s plenty that would make us stronger short term then build from there.

No buses from here that I know of, few people used to get the Stoke bus but most just make their own way up on the train now. Pretty cheap when you book it in advance so it's not too bad.

Can't remember the game but remember us being down 1-0 with only minutes left of the game, kept checking the scores. You had to wait sometimes till it came back round to the page you wanted and by the time it had come back round it was 2-1 to us and full time! Happy days!

You'd quickly meet people along the way, I used to go up on my own then got to know people from seeing them regularly on the trains up

Nah flying to Nuremberg then train to Leipzig in the morning. Flights were £30 return so an absolute bargain

Shown glimpses of quality but that's about it so far, still hard to tell how he'll turn out. Big step up for him joining us and I think a lot more has been asked of him than expected due to the midfield problems we have. I'm hoping added quality in the midfield can both help raise his game and allow him to grow into his role a bit more as he's still a young player.
