Yeah worth a shot. Easy enough to get a train to Walkden from town then it'll be a short walk but if there's a few of you then you may as well just split a taxi. If I see or hear of anything I'll send you a message.

Brindley Arms is just up the road from me, not had the chance to check it out yet though so can't really say what it's like. There's also the Wheatsheaf in Stockport where Stockport True Blues go, nowhere really in the city centre of Manchester though and if it does stay the same time as the Manchester Derby then it may be tough to find somewhere. Some of the sports bars might show both games if you're lucky.

I actually thought it was more down to Tav being found out of position as they seemed to break quite quickly down the left hand side with pace and when they did the centre backs done as well as they could to constrain them into taking wide angled shots or half chances as you mention so I do agree there but hopefully as the season goes on that organisation and positioning will get better. There were a few dodgy back passes from Kiernan in particular though but I'm just hoping that will be down to rustiness, just remains to be seen I suppose.

Took me about 80 minutes to realise Kiernan was playing on Monday night, that's not a dig at him but just shows how little we had to do at the back. The Motherwell game didn't fill me with confidence but we now look like we have stronger cover in front of the back 4 so hopefully we'll see a more confident and organised defence as the games go on.

Wouldn't mind going to a game over there some time. Bit gutted we've not got any friendlies in the UK other than Burnley this season but suppose that's all down to this league cup setup. Could do with another Sheffield, Derby or Bristol trip.

Will be good to have some changes and see the rest of the lads in action. Unfortunately I'll have to wait till August 6th to visit Ibrox again though but can't wait now.

Loved watching him spray those cross field balls around, will be a joy to watch this season and the likes of McKay will have a field they running on to those passes. Was equally impressed with both O'Halloran and Windass, I think the strength in our squad is starting to show now which is really exciting. Last season we often struggled to make substitutions that could really change a game but this year it looks as though they'll all have to fight for their place as we can bring on real quality.

How many SPL games do BT have this year? Wondering whether it's worth getting or not just for our games

Couldn't care less how we win it or at what time of year but I'd love us to clinch it at Ibrox, after everything we've been through to have 50,000 bears packed inside with the place absolutely bouncing will be something special

I asked to add semi finals and finals to my season ticket so they've sent me a letter to fill in. On the semi finals/finals part it also mentions all non season ticket home games, can you not just add semi's/finals without having to add all the other non season ticket home games? Most earlier cup games tend to be midweek games so doesn't really suit me and if I can make it then tickets are never really too hard to buy
