If they were looking after their own fans why didn’t they cut the tarriers allocation last week? They’ve been making noises about second weeks before the split fixtures came out
this is always done to us, then next team it’s business as usual - recognise the pattern ffs

For those who choose to interpret 'agenda' as inferring a co-ordinated campaign I would suggest that need not necessarily be the full case.  It seems to me that it can be the product of a bandwagon effect where anti-Rangers opinions or views or complaints are made, they gain traction, they are not rebuffed in sufficient strength, and a bandwagon grows where it becomes a sort of media and political sport to have a go at Rangers with impunity.  It need not necessarily be a fully co-ordinated thing that happens but enough momentum is established to make it take hold.  Which in my estimation it has.   Far from dismissing such things as 'pathetic' as some might suggest it would maybe me more instructive to say what the Club and 1872 could and should do as a strategy that would be likely to be effective.   Or would those who would do nothing, say nothing, continuously turn the other cheek without response, accept in silence the wave of insults, false accusations and assaults.......a sort of dignified silence so to speak?
There is, in my opinion, an anti-Rangers bias in the media and in the political spectrum in Scotland.   It's my opinion.  Other posters think differently and that is of course up to them.  How successful 1872 will be in its efforts remains to be seen.  I'd certainly like to see the leadership team at the Club do a lot more to publicly counter anti-Rangers agendas in the media.

It’s not about hounding them out, they all hold shares.
Its about telling the cunts they aren’t good enough and to get people who can take us forward making the decisions, they can keep their shares.
Surely it makes sense to them that a successful Rangers back on the stock market with the share price soaring is a win/win for them.
You have to ask why are they happy for the club to limp along with the share price in the gutter and revenue streams down and the team achieving nothing.
Are they simply here to make a killing off their loans and nothing else matters.

If a non rhabid player gives a good performance against us then I will applaud him off. Players like Davie Cooper at Clydebank, and Kempes, Bonhof, Neeskens, Cruyff, George Best, immediately spring to mind, would never ever boo a Gers player on the park or off the park though, that's why I can claim to be a Gers fan and a football fan at the same time. And if it's an ex Ger  who served us well, then that's just the way it is.
Leave the bad loser's attitude to the likes of Sutton, Lennon and other reptiles.

His changes made us slower and worse and lost us a game that was there for the taking.  He'll never get a better chance to beat celtic than that and that he lost from that position tells me he isn't up to the job full time.  My realistic choice right now would be Steve Clarke.

Yes that's not bad at all.
And I see we still have 14 Members on the Pledged List, so we're not quite done yet.
But I suppose in the meantime I can probably reveal how much the November Fundraiser has raised (albeit it turned into more of a December fundraiser!)

    £3,301.57
    Well done everybody.
First things first, I'll get the Erskine Christmas Dinner Cheques sent off tomorrow.

Here's what we did last Christmas...

I reckon this year, we should improve on that, since our fundraising has gone so well, and so I propose this year:
    Erskine Park Home: £300
    Erskine Glasgow Home: £300
    Erskine Bishopton Home: £500
I reckon we should also add on an extra £200 for Erskine Edinburgh, because Christmas is all about helping those less fortunate than ourselves.
    Total = £1300.

    Everyone happy with that?

I know this piece at aimed at King and everything you've said about him is true however it's still a negative story for Rangers as a whole.

The one thing that is obvious is that there are Bears we all trust, that believe in our having a voice at board level, these are not the manipulists, not the policy writers, nor the populist.
They are the season ticket holders, the away support, the RSCs.
These are the people we should entrust our holding to, and they should direct not administer.

To be honest i dont really like blindly following orders from on high from anyone. The rational from the club appears to be "dont buy from SD because you are lining Ashleys pockets and not the clubs because the retail deal is slanted very much in favour of SD and very much against the club".
However I believe @Virtuoso has pointed out on this very thread that for every £10 spent Rangers get £2.70 (not the much quoted peanuts in the pound spouted in the press). I believe this has been verified in the company accounts - so the club actually does make money. Maybe King thinks he can make more elsewhere - I dunno. Another argument put forward by the club is the length of the deal - 7 years being too long. However, if you were in a favourable merchandising deal (as above) you would actually want to lock in the deal for as long as possible.
The argument against Ashley is that he obviously doesn't have the clubs interest at heart. Frankly there is no disputing that as his continuing litigation has been a pain (however it hasn't cost us money as the fat cunt keeps loosing) and he is looking to protect his interests over and above everything else and as further evidence his handling of Newcastle has been catastrophic. However,  I am sure MA's argument would be "why wouldn't I protect my interests"?
I realise I am shooting in the dark with this and i dont have all the facts - but thats the point. It would be nice for the Rangers fans to be able to make a choice re the strip and merchandise based on sound and truthful information. We dont have that. At the moment decisions are being made on half truths, complete nonsense and faith.
Neither the club or SD come out of this debacle with any credit whatsoever.

Yeah that makes sense mate but regardless of what we own, even if it was only 1% of it, when the contract with Puma was signed it would have been to release the strips with official trademarks on them - regardless of who owns what percentage of the trademarks, the deal is there contractually for them to use them while they are our strip manufacturer. That's why I don't get Rangers thinking they are justified in their legal injunction? as I sais previously I'm no doubt missing something here.
