Im not optimistic at all for this game, but good, bad or downright ugly il be backing the team, we've been through so much these last few years and yes this is another tough time but il be there following the Gers, thats what we do isn't it ?

we were lucky to get the win today with the chances morton missed, but under the circumstances we will be happy to be in the Quarter finals.

One bad result we would be howling.
A couple would be an over reaction.
We are now nearly a year into piss poor performance after piss poor performance with the odd glimmer of hope papering over the cracks now and again.
Do I see any progress? No!
Do I see a settled team being built? No
Do I see players willing to fight for their jersey? Very few.
Do I see professional players and management learning from their mistakes? Not in the slightest leading to the same errors in every single game.
Do I see NW being afforded more time and tolerance up to this point than any other manager would have been given? Very much so.
I wasn't expecting miracles this season.I hoped against hope as we all do but realistically thought  a close second would be achievable.What I wasn't expecting was so much spineless,uninterested and below par performances from so many in the squad.For me the manager has to carry the can for this.He has allowed this mentality to actually become the norm and then has the cheek on occassions to talk about the bravery of the performance!
Last night was another night of total embarrassment for us travelling fans.Thought nothing could add to this then OUR manager states he took Hyndman OUR best player on the night off because he was protecting him for his parent club and had a responsibility to them.What about your responsibility to US?No matter we don't count.All we do is travel for miles to games paying our hard earned money to watch total shite like last night.

Just an honest assessment of where we are today and that's a very very dark place at present.
 

Our budget is bigger than Hearts', how do you explain how a bunch of strangers who don't even all know each others names absolutely pumped us and how we never win the big away games? It's unacceptably poor

The problem for me is that MW doesn't seem to understand how bad a result like last night means to us. 
After the OF on Hogmanay I said that he just sees that as another game and he moves on. I don't think he understands that in our footballing world results like these are devastating.
Last week when we were a man down he appeared to change the shape of the team to 3-4-2. It was some of the best football we've played this season. I don't know if it was because there was 3 at the back or 2 upfront but it worked. Last night back to the predictable pish of 4-3-3 which clearly doesn't work. To me that speaks volumes and he is clearly clueless.
We've shown him more patience and tolerance than a lot of others would have been given. It's time to get fresh ideas and for me MW will not budge on his philosophy so the fresh ideas will not be coming from him.
