Can I just say to everyone on this thread who has contributed since the Queen’s sad passing, thank you. It has been uplifting reading your comments, viewing photos and everything else. It has been nice to see everything that’s been shared during a time which I think has affected us all a lot more than we ever thought (or would ever have admitted). I’ve personally been more emotional than I ever thought I would. I am so proud of our country today, but I’m also proud of our fans and how we’ve commemorated her passing including you all on here. You’ve all been bloody brilliant. God Save The King and may our Queen rest in eternal peace.

I have emailed Stewart Robertson asking for the Queen’s portrait to be kept in the changing room. Just like the portraits of the Rangers managers aren’t removed when they move on, I believe it should be the same for our monarch. I don’t believe there’s a more appropriate place for her in Ibrox anyway. She reigned for 70 years and as a quintessentially British institution, the Club should retain her portrait in its rightful, current position despite her very sad passing. Add a portrait of the King alongside Her Majesty.

Just been to sign the book of condolence at the City Chambers. A stunning portrait of the Queen displayed alongside the saltire and union flag in a really grand room. Just missed Princess Anne. Stunning flowers laid outside including this beautiful wreath laid by a RSC.

I don’t even know what to say about tonight I’m just absolutely scunnered. By god can the football put you in some rager of a mood though.

I have to say Scotland did HM Queen proud today. Massive numbers turned out. The King and Prince Edward waved when they saw my Union flag as they came back from St Giles. Left my flowers at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Was looking for edelweiss to go with the rose and thistles but they didn’t have any. Wanted to represent her Scottish, English and German blood, which is the same as me.

Me and @JCDBigBear en route to Edinburgh today to pay our respects. Written a wee note attached to the flowers which says ‘thank you for everything, your memory will live on.’ Going to be an emotional day.
