He's been a great servant and provided great value for money. His ability to be avaliable and play in so many games is huge. He brings leadership and despite being prone to mistakes, like ever other footballer, he will be a big miss if he leaves.
I would much rather he stayed. I'd be delighted if he stayed. However everyone is replaceable. The big concern is losing a key component of a settled back line, that familiarity which could be ripped up entirely. With the exception of Tav, we could be missing possibly 4 of our favoured back 5. Equally there's still an outside chance we could still have 3/4 of the back 5 in place.
We've seen with Lundstram, Bassey and many others it can take time to settle with us. Unfortunately when we return we're straight in at the deep end with the prospect of a very different back 5. Any business we do really needs to be done ASAP.

He's had a pretty strong end to the season.
Thought he looked bright when he came on at parkhead in the 1-1 game and then in the Scottish Cup semi. Scored a great goal away to Motherwell (similar finish to his Scottish Cup final goal) when we were up against it being down to 10 men. Got the Kamara assist against Leipzig, scored against Ross County, was decent against Frankfurt and made a huge impact against Hearts rounding off with a great finish.
He may or may not become a first team regular through time. Obviously to become a first team regular he will really need to push on again, which I don't think is impossible. Won't be easy though. I would imagine it's an area we would be looking to strengthen too. However he's a good age, fast, direct, seems to have a good attitude, keen to improve and also looks like he's gaining confidence.
At worst he's a strong squad player. Certainly a massive improvement on previous squad players like of MOH, Barker etc.

Brilliant from Kent. Some saves and then excellent tracking and tackle from Wright.

Brilliant from Wright again.

BTW, got to respect Souttar for his professionalism, been immense despite playing against his very near future employer.
👏
He's been excellent. Excited to see what he brings.

His finishing is terrible but the effort and endeavour from Kent is mental. He's been good today as well.

It really is remarkable how they do it.
Every extra time we go again and some. It's remarkable, even moreso after Wednesday and yesterday.
I don't think we will truly appreciate how deep some are digging.

Our ability to not only dig so deep in extra time but to get fitter, stronger, faster, better is pretty incredible.
What a massive effort.

We just can't catch a break.
Extra time again. It was never going to be easy.

The masters legend. Would always steal the show. Wasn't too bad on the park as well!
