Morelos failed to score more than 18 goals in 4 of the 6 seasons with us (and for context he played a minimum of 43 games every season at Rangers).
 
Dessers is on 19 and counting on his first season.  The criticism of him this year has been way over the top, he's a talented forward that's lacked consistency for sure, but I think he'll kick on and do much better next year.

The whole 'we need a 20 goal a season striker but not this one' gets on my tits.
Its not Dessers' fault Roofe is made of glass, Lammers misfired, Danillo and Lovelace got crocked (you can add in Sima too even tho he's not a striker) and £35m man Silva is utter shite, meaning we've had to rely on him leading the line through most of the campaign.
He misses a fair amount of guilt edged chances but he has scored some crackers manufactured from nowt. 
Weirdly if he was a 20 goal a season man who scored the obvious ones and did little else (ala Colak) we'd probably be raving about him.

Getting into final is the most important thing and we've done that. We were never going to be perfect after the last week.
Hopefully Sima is okay as his goals will be vital on this run in.
Good to keep a clean sheet. I see it this way with our attacking options if we defend well and keep clean sheets then the reliance on them becomes even less as we dont need 3/4+ goals. It gives us a real chance.

If all you ever saw was teletext scores or vidiprinter updates then you’d think he was good, pity we see all of the guff in between.

Honestly think this game has shown how much we’ve missed Balogun in defence 
Defends aggressively and with conviction, doesn’t always work but definitely helps in games when you’ve got spells where you’re up against it

If you took a shot every time McCausland passed back or sideways you’d be in the Royal getting your stomach pumped by now.

I don't want a good footballer at centre half. I want a good defender. Just clear the ball. You don't need to look good doing it, as long as the ball is further away from our goals I couldn't care less. 

We have conceded a few from him going to wide and trying to control the ball, just clear it.
We have been so sloppy again today.
Striker that can't control or hold up a ball.
Wide players that can't cross or take men on, 
CM that can't tackle or press.

As others have said, also see how Souttar gets on on his natural ‘side’.
