We can revisit this when he is gone and we have Matondo playing on the left. Kent is still one of our best players and yes his numbers can be much better but there is much more to his game. The reason Sakala had so much space tonight is because they were doubling up on Kent.

Don’t really get the hate for Gerrard. The cups were and always will be a stain on his time here. But for me it was always about 55 and stopping 10iar.
When he took charge. I just couldn’t see it. So I will always look back on it as a success. 
He left behind a young, fit squad with sellable assets that would go on to make a European finial. That’s a phenomenal achievement (no thanks to Wilson). It was the right time to leave and he left behind a good platform that we have managed to f up real bad. 
Against that we were found out towards the end-playing some really bad stuff. And I don’t see how Beale will have improved on play style/tactics etc since then?

dyche hasnt had to manage at a team like us who need to win every week, I don’t trust Wilson to get the next appointment right.
I said on here the other day after Motherwell and Dundee that this has a feel of the end of days for gio but I don’t think they’ll pull the plug till it’s 8 or 10 behind which being honest won’t be too many weeks away, Aberdeen st mirren and st Johnstone, I don’t see us taking 9 points from they 3

Yes hugely, 5 points to 2 is a massive difference in terms of belief for us and doubt for them. With the unique aspect of this season we must only have another 8 or so league games till the transfer window opens. If we can get to there with at worst this gap then sign a goalie, central midfielder and a good forward/winger 👍
