Why take the risk of giving someone who has consistently underperformed even more money to do the exact same?

We are miles behind them on the field, in recruitment, in business acumen and in pr.
They have recruited quick skilful goal scoring forwards, clever energetic midfielders. We have concentrated on project signings, players with great experience of losing and relegation, lower end dross, and the perpetually injured. Not a very good business model and one which will continue being a problem every transfer window with our ageing players, the dross that no one will pay money for, the contract situations which ensures that we get nothing for any decent players and means we have to continue to pay the mediocre and the injury prone until their contracts end.
From the 55 season onwards the policy of the board has been an insult to the support and has helped the other mob more than they could ever have hoped.

Im not 100% now you say it, always thought he was left footed mainly, tbh i think he would adapt anyway, he is a decent if not spectacular defender, in a system that keeps its fullbacks a bit more contained he'd probably look better, I'll stick up for goldson a bit here as well in that having centre mids tracking over and covering flying fullbacks allows teams to get further up the park against us than they should
Lyons first goal at ibrox, when kent loses the ball lundstram has to track back and goldson is stuck in no mans land (imo he should have pressed the ball long before the goalscorer got near the shooting position) but if our fullback system means tav is deeper that goal doesnt happen

We can only benefit and get better playing against technically far superior teams to the Scottish dregs. Some good pedigree names we're playing against regularly too.
Great move from us and some of the results were truly excellent. It can only attract good young players to us.

Yes we shouldn't need to ordinarily, but having the hole ripped out of you for seven years, particularly with the lasst three being by Rangers men, it can get painfull.
Lies, deceit, intrigue, never out of court, turned into a circus act by a convicted criminal as Chairman. No strategy, no coherent plan, coroprate malfeasance. No leadership, no governance, incompetence, inadequate funding and simply just treating fans with utter contempt. In a cycle of diminishing returns as operating costs rise along with the debt, the toxity increases and not an investor to be seen for dust.
Sit back silently and watch that clusterfuck and do nothing, there wouldn't be much of a club left, if any at all and we wouldn't be much of a support. At last many are waking up to it and applying the pressure for this board to do the right thing and tbh, if we want the club to succeed and flourish, it is the right thing to do, as it gives us a fighting chance for step change.  If this board ignore and continue in the current MO, then expectations will not be achieved and we look forward to further chaos and worse ahead.

I'm for Steve. He's a no nonsence motivational type. Obviously has an eye for a player. That new two bob striker of his, is a battering ram. However, anyone with a spine in our team would look right out of place.
Steve's a Prod as well, so need for the conspiracy theories.

I've thought loads recently that see if you you were a tarrier and were in charge of our club and had free reign to make decisions and run the club and you were hell bent on running it into the ground, but doing it in a way it's not too obvious then it wouldn't be far off the decisions we make, the people we appoint, the policies we persue, the signings we make, the big decisions we take etc.
If it's not talentless individuals then it's habitual liars. I can't really think of one person worth their salt at Ibrox just now in any capacity outwith some of the nice guys that run the under 20's and maybe Jimmy Bell/Jimmy Nic who are Rangers through and through. Outwith that I'm struggling.

Anything is possible with King, but worse than that, we fall for it every time. We are now really at the point we deserve all we get, because this board are ripping the piss out of us.
