  1. Cheers Eskbankloyal. Nice one PZJ and all involved in the outing of this imposter. My only concern is that he will not go away, but will return in yet another disguise. But with people like yourself, who really do have The Rangers best interests at heart, I would imagine you with help from fellow Bears, will flush him and his like out yet again.
  2. Thanks Corky, my thoughts exactly. It has nothing to do with Scotland lacking football skills compared to any other country. It is as you say, and the reason we are behind in technical ability is because most of the countries compared to Scotland are nowhere near as "Computerised" as us. The fact we don't have the amount of youngsters out playing football from dawn to dusk, as we had in the pre "A've goat it awe oan ma computur" years, is the sad fact as to why we are behind other countries technically. Now If there was a world cup for being a Football manager, we probably would qualify hands down, and possibly win from time to time, but in the real world cups, as far as players are concerned, that will only happen when parents start getting their sons out and up the park and actually playing the game for real. Sitting behind a computer and complaining about our lack of technical footballing abilities will not bring about changes, young people getting out and playing the game with passion is the only way this will happen. The youth of today not getting physically involved are the main reason we have not got enough talent in this country going forward, no other reason holds water. PS: Burchill is no Churchill ....... he is a loser.
  3. For sure mate, couldn't be clearer, they all want to be part of the deal, no matter the team or colour they actually play for, they all see themselves in a green hooped one, sad bastards. ,
  4. The day we became the unofficial champions of the world. Oh yes, it most certainly is your prerogative to say MisterC.
  5. Brilliant mate, send that to Big Nathan he'll love it.
  6. Smeagol says you are a bad Hobbit for comparing him to a retard, and wants an apology, or he'll stick his finger up your ring.
  7. How quaint ..... I don't know how long you have been out of Scotland, or how long you have been following Scottish football, but this type of "play" has been around for a very long time, and our game officials have never been known to be able to draw a line under it. Up here the game is flooded with crunchers, and we have had our fair share of them also, so we are not free and clear from some rough handling of the opposition, but in most cases only when it is deemed that a certain player (or rather farmer) needed to be solidly told that his ploughing was not going to be tolerated. This tit for tat method I agree is not the way forward when you are trying to instil an ethos of stylish football, but the realities are just that some farmers grow horns when they come up against The Rangers, and even a bullfighter can get gored, hence the reason the matador has a team of picadors to "deflect" the bull away from the star of the arena. This SFA you talk of are the biggest bunch of farmers in the country, and try as you might you will never change their cooperative farming methods, as they only allow organic methods when it applies to one team in Scotland ..... That "team" being a foreign crop of Irish descent, that they fertilise on a regular basis, to the detriment of the local indigenous crops. So the changes need to come from an association within the local populous who will have the homegrown varieties' best interests in mind. Until that happening occurs you can forget about the beautiful game making any great form of indentation in Bonnie Scotland. All that said, I digress, as this is a thread where we are discussing the rights and wrongs of a Rangers player being crunched by an inexperienced clugger of a player, trying to make a name for himself. The referee (by some reports on Clyde 1), has admitted after seeing the replays that it was indeed a red card, and had he done as he is supposed to do and administered the correct understanding of the rules, i.e a red card, we would not be discussing this matter as the punishment would have fitted the crime ..... the opposite occurred ....... hence this thread. Bottom line is that the opposing player was wrong and the referee was also wrong .... and sadly two wrongs don't make a right .... and even more sadly in the case of The Rangers in this case, the two wrongs were caused by others, but we end up the victims of this outcome ...... possibly coining the phrase ..... three wrongs don't make a right either. Go figure.
  8. He will now forever be known (to anyone who listens in to the podcast) as Backtrack Burchill, as that is all he seems to be doing and it is as clear as an Aussie sky in summer.
  9. Unfortunately and sadly I have to agree with you Scotty, we are the last team any of the authorities would rush out to help, more so when it involves someone of Burchill's creed.
  10. Agreed Wullie, big Greig knew how to "let somebody know" they were on his list of things to do alright, and was not shy in taking the relevant action when it was required. We need someone in that category to be able to out -enforce these opposition enforcers.
  11. Good statement ...... Let's hope it get's the required coverage, and the correct result for this stupid uneducated statement, spouted by an equally stupid and uneducated tosser.
  12. I know bud, but as I never used it in conjunction with an English river, I feel justified in that he would be permanently submerged in one of our own ponds to cover up his stupidity, and therefore save Scotland from future embarrassment. No English rivers would be hurt in this justifiable action, and the Clyde would probably be proud to flumigate this turd out to sea.
  13. He deserves to be in the Clyde for his statement, but there you are.
  14. How does that crap work out then ....... Oh wait a minute, that's right, it's straight out of the Shit for Brains Managers manual, that Stubbs, Houston and Burchill plus a few more subscribe to. All the time and money that was spent on the Say No To Racism campaign just went for a Burchill .... ahem Burton ..... He just must get a pull for this, fucking outrageous. All the English teams that W&W have contacts with concerning loan deals to us, will be more wary now because of the way this numbnut has approached this incident.
  15. He's always been one of them mate ...... but now he's a Supersized one, and it is inevitable he will eventually become a Jumbo one ..... it's like their hall of fame ....... but Cuntified.
  16. 3-0 and a hard won 3-0 I think it will be too ..... as well ..... probably ...... definitely ...... maybe ......... fuck it i don't know ....... right? Aaahh! that was good.
  17. Excellant post Siddiqi, and it cuts straight to the present where we are all rather happy to be, and would also have been three years ago, if things had been different, and the management team had had this vision we are seeing now. Top post mate. PS; just saw your edit, and for what it's worth I was annoyed MW had postponed also, but have more faith in his reasons as he has not made too many mistakes and his reasons seemed more credible.
  18. Edited my post mate, as I only just saw your post 281 confirming MW's position on ID. Also agree about it not being a demotion in the context MW would see it, as all positions are relevant to the overall rebuilding of the team from youth onwards.
  19. Not directed at me Albear, but ....... Could it be that Durrant is now in his rightful position, and MW has recognised that youth development suits him better, and he is of more value to the Club in this position? Hence the reason ID is still with us. Let's face it, he added nothing to the first team squad when under AM. Another good decision by W&W to add value to the Club ......... very possibly ...... right? PS; Just saw post 281.
  20. The big difference being that W&W (or possibly any other management team) will never ever be allowed the amount of time (since Maribor) that AM was afforded in the position. A few people seem to disregard the amount of time and support AM received at first after going to the lower divisions (± 4 seasons), but it got beyond the pale when disaster after disaster occurred, and to deny this is the true hypocrisy. At the moment we have success in almost all areas of the footballing side, and until it gets to the stage it was with AM, we will continue to support W&W, as that is what we do, until they can take us no further, and it is then time for a major change. Right now that scenario, if ever, is not on the horizon for a good few seasons yet, and hopefully will not be the case, and as long as the "boys" they bring in are qualified to do the "jobs" they are employed to do, and produce the desired results, we really have no need to compare either, as the difference is like chalk and cheese for all to see.
  21. As per usual, both good at putting over the positive attitude that is prevalent at the Club at this time. Still would like to know what the relevance to the English championship and the manager situation down there has to do with us, but some dick questions are not far from the lips of some of the press up here, so I suppose it's to be expected.
  22. Aye, as long as it's not a left hand drive trolley.
