Disappointing as far as the football was concerned, it was abysmal except for a few games. The constant daily attacks against our Club were to be expected and predictable, but nevertheless they added to the abysmal football and angry atmosphere. So for me the abiding memory would not be just one thing but a culmination of both anger and disappointment, coming from on and off the field. A terrible time in our history (probably our worst period ever) with very few highs until the arrival of W&W. They have lifted the gloom and replaced it with delight, and, like Our Majesty long may it reign.
