  1. Nice article Quinty, and it shows what a player he was in his day. That can never be disputed, and he will always be a legend for his services as one of the greatest player's we will ever see at Ibrox, thanks for the memory.
  2. Definitely the best in their day, unlucky not to have had a european trophy to round them off as the greatest Rangers team ever.
  3. Spot on mate, get it done, Sandy did so much for the club and it would be great if it was in pride of place at Sandy Jardine Park, (formerly Auchenhowie) :7325: .
  4. Not his biggest fan, but he did play well on Saturday so fair play to him. If the coaching he receives at Auchenhowie is not up to scratch, then I don't see any great amount of youth getting any sort of run out in the future, and if this persists, it will be all uphill for any youth player unless they show uncanny skill. This lad is only here because of circumstance and I will need to see much more improvement before I am convinced he is of Rangers' quality.
  5. Well done mate, your hard work has been rewarded, and you have given even more recognition to an already iconic figure. Great to hear of good works being carried out by unselfish Rangers fans who know what our history is all about, and Bobby Brown will be well chuffed, and he deserves all the recognition for his services to his community, his country and of course his club. again mate, well done.
  6. Thanks for he update D'art, keep at them bud and let them know this will not go away.
  7. Was a nap, well done Lee, can't wait to see you win it again next season.
  8. Such a moving shot of Ally and Sandy, the surge of emotions' that it invokes is beyond belief. The spiritual hand on Ally's shoulder is so poignant, as it was always there in life for not just Ally, but for all of us, none more so than in our hour of need, during the darkest times when we needed a hand to guide us through the storm.
  9. So is that it? What is the next move from the RST going to be? Surely they will take it further, and demand that all SFA employees refuse to turn up for work, and put up pickets and demand the removal of the SFA board, surely the RST are not going to let them away with this left-handed apology of an apology, surely not, it's not their way to let serious misdemeanours slide under the carpet. What not even a wee boycott? The RST ain't what they used to be. Now if Dingwall were still in control.............
  10. That's the Viceroy for you, you'd think they would have arranged it so she could have sat on something else and enjoyed a swally, know what I mean?
  11. Have to agree Oleg, they will have it all carved up between the premier clubs, the parasitical bastards. But as usual the Blue pound will do the subsidising of the championship, as it has been doing the last two leagues. The Famous Glasgow Rangers............. Proud sponsors of Scottish football.......... Since it's inception, for over 141 years.
  12. Would much rather hear of his untimely demise, due to his lack of public exposure, and his total lack of relevance. Or kidnapped by Afghan militants, and never to be seen or heard of ever again.
  13. Their behaviour was crass on this day, of all days. If you think that Sandy Jardine would have joined in with this trash, then you definitely have not got to grips with the concept of time and place, and dignity.
  14. If they have half the memories and half the players we saw they will be lucky, I hope they are.
  15. We really are the privileged, to have seen so many different and truly talented players, I am now back in Barcelona and have to doff my hat to your choice of star, he was brilliant. We have had so many it's hard to single them out.
  16. Respect your point of view mate, but think that part about being 2nd was more cautious than anything, not to your liking, I know, and you never know, I personally hope you are right, so no probs mate.
  17. You're not far out there mate, but I hope it won't come to that.
  18. You're a brave man Coleyman, and your sadness at this time is shared by many. Your "heart" seems to be in the right place at any rate, in this instance.
  19. would have to agree with you mate, and that is why I would welcome him back at Ibrox anytime.
  20. The Board..... play it safe and be realistic = leaving oneself open to ridicule......for some. " " ..... play it fast and loose and be unrealistic = the same result as above......for some. The Board = can't win whichever way they play the game.......for some.
  21. Brilliant post mate, I also share the same memories as yourself, and have to agree with you as to being very fortunate indeed to have journeyed along that wonderful road.
  22. As far as I can see, you are the one crowing gleefully about your assumption that, the majority of fans are in agreement with Richard Gough and Dave King. I recall a different scenario, that is not based on supposition and unproven reasoning. Many fans have been waiting on the outcome of the 120+ days financial investigation, and were prepared to review the outcome, and subsequent summary, before deciding their next move. It has nothing to do with Gough and King, and is more in line with their own sense of fairness to Graham Wallace and their own judgement. The subsequent passing of Sandy Jardine ,I would humbly presume, has put all the boardroom jostling into perspective, and all decent fans will be more focussed on giving Sandy a good sending off, and paying their respects to a true legend before they now review the summary in depth. You also give little respect to other fans, if you think, that like sheep, they will follow the untimely and unfair rants of an ex player, who really has shown bad judgement, and made some very stupid statements in the recent past.
