Cantwell is finally starting to look the part. He's far more direct now. Largely has cut out the sand dancing, 5 a side play. Sign of a good coach.
He's certainly improved his game the last few matches mate .... hopefully he is now on a run of good form .... credit where credit is due he was my MOTM last night.

I would just love it if VAR overrides him on a couple of penalty calls and ... "Tav .... does what Tav does"

First time for a wee while I feel quite confident we will hammer this bunch of lanolin lickers tonight .... sending them home to their wooly arsed girlfriends broken hearted .... at half time .... 😛

Very emotional for him there .... players like him are indeed a rare species .... hope he gets into management as he still has so much to offer ... he will be remembered as a true legend as a player by us all.
Just hope that when he got the standing ovation that wee Kemar Roofe never picked up another injury when he stood up .... 😛

Every one of our goals were superb ... and all three players deserved them for three different reasons ... this should boost the whole teams confidence no end.
RY's was a particularly sweet finish and I hope he ends up staying with us ... this was one of his best all round games for us too.

Smooth as Baxter that finish ... Nice One Cyriel indeed.

Brilliantly taken goal ... deserves credit for that .... otherwise his running about was to no avail ... his positional sense was way off ... but hopefully he comes right and his injury is minimal.

AFCON is an absolute baw ache for us every time - only upside to this at all is that there is still time to bring in a replacement. Real blow to the team tho.
Ryan Jack and the injuries he has come back with from the Scotland squad were the same mate .... total disaster in similar cases equals our loss.

Needs to add more consistency to his game.
Agreed mate .... and TC will know that too I hope .... unfortunately Saturday was not the climate or pitch conditions conducive to helping anyone's consistency though.
It was a good result under adverse conditions.

Aye but mate, Ally McCoist was 18.
Dessers is 29.
I have still got some old VHS tapes somewhere in the attic of all the howlers Super missed when at Sunderland and infamously with us and of course all his memorable game winning belters ... definitely one of our best strikers ever ... eventually .... 😛
Loved his retort when Alfredo became our top scorer in Europe ... when asked this opinion of that he said (paraphrased) .... Pretty good I suppose ... but I never played in the Europa League ... all my goals were in the Champions league ... 😇

I've no issues with him being subbed last night. He put a shift in but like others understandably struggled to be creative. I've also no issues a player being disappointed at being subbed. He wasn't disrespectful to anyone though and acknowledged each sub who came on which is what you said he didn't do.
You make a good argument for your opinion as I Acknowledged mate ... I also believe my opinion has some merit to it and is only a difference of opinions .... so let's leave it there and agree to disagree.

Are you mental? He wants to play football. You want him to dance a jig when he comes off? Of course he's not happy.
Ask any decent manager which of these two attitudes they would prefer in a player and I'd bet money they would side with somebody like Cantwell.
Aye ...In my younger days I most certainly was .... I've mellowed a wee bit now though and understand the point you are making mate.
See above post mate ....

As famously portrayed by our own Davey Wilson when he replaced Eric Caldow when he got his leg broken against England and played the rest of the game at left back and played a blinder.
