  1. He's definitely on a roll ... and deserves all the credit for turning it around and proving he has what it takes to be playing for our Club.

Another fine display last night and again my MOTM .... although Dessers did deserve the sponsors MOTM for his fine finishing.

Out of all of the injured players .... none of them had the presence and ability that Lawrence brought to our game .... bar possibly Lowry ..... for forward energy and creativity.

Tom is the one that is missed the most though and would have boosted our chances against Liverpool.

Still we are where we are .... I just hope we put on our better Euro form tonight and get a result.

On paper it looks like a long shot .... but I live in hope we will perform well and our key players hit form tonight.

So glad for him being back in the team and showing his skills again.

With proper game time management ... (which the Gaffer has proved to be expert in) ... Tom should get the minutes he needs to get to prime fitness and a better than average chance of avoiding any serious injuries and that should see him giving the squad more depth.

Physically yes, depending on what type of full back you and the way the your team sets up.

But it's by far and away the easiest position on the park for someone to slot into and do a job in should the need arise.

As famously portrayed by our own Davey Wilson when he replaced Eric Caldow when he got his leg broken against England and played the rest of the game at left back and played a blinder.

Cantwell is finally starting to look the part. He's far more direct now. Largely has cut out the sand dancing, 5 a side play. Sign of a good coach. :pipe:

He's certainly improved his game the last few matches mate .... hopefully he is now on a run of good form .... credit where credit is due he was my MOTM last night.

Would imagine peter the pointer smells of mothballs.

He certainly smells of somebody's balls Scotty mate .... and I don't think it's the poor wee moths balls .... 😛

Anyway 3 very valuable points ....  🎵We're coming down the road🎵 ... and the Marathon continues.

Very emotional for him there .... players like him are indeed a rare species .... hope he gets into management as he still has so much to offer ... he will be remembered as a true legend as a player by us all.

Just hope that when he got the standing ovation that wee Kemar Roofe never picked up another injury when he stood up .... 😛

  7. Brilliantly taken goal ... deserves credit for that .... otherwise his running about was to no avail ... his positional sense was way off ... but hopefully he comes right and his injury is minimal.

AFCON is an absolute baw ache for us every time - only upside to this at all is that there is still time to bring in a replacement.  Real blow to the team tho.

Ryan Jack and the injuries he has come back with from the Scotland squad were the same mate .... total disaster in similar cases equals our loss.
