He has a chance with a snapshot like in the first half. But give him a moment to think and the chance is gone. -

Is 10 yards shorter up there than the rest of the country? -
Try looking closely at it and you'll see it. The ball is in front of both players and the defender's foot moves across, in front of Dessers' stride. The ball is nothing to do with this movement.
-
Their kid-on defender came into contact with Dessers' leg only because his foot moved towards Dessers and not in a straight line as he would if he was running with/to the ball. It was an unnatural movement. No one could run like that so it should never have counted against Dessers, who did nothing wrong. It was probably an instinctive movement to protect the ball but Dessers should never have been punished for that.
-
Watching the vid in the OP, the defender twists his left foot outwards for no reason other than to catch the attacker's foot. Goal should stand.
-
When the shot is taken, his arm is inside the natural silhouette. So there is no reason at all in the rules that a penalty should be given. About time UEFA train their officials properly.

Just hope St Mirren don't go down just in case we need to reboot Borna again next season at some point.

Only surprise is that it's the BBC saying it!

Class player, set out to build a career as a classy manager, had no class in how he snuck away. But, aye, thanks for terry munro and 55.

Describe Brandon Barker in 3 words?

Supposedly great trainer -
Won the same number of Scottish trophies as O'Neill's lot did but McLeish is not generally reckoned to have been a success by many. Did a great job considering the downsizing.

Steven Gerrard To Aston Villa - Official
Bears replied to The Dude's topic in General Football & Sport
I get the family thing, I even get the going to a bigger league where he played most of his career thing, but I don't get the sleekit way it was done and how he couldn't even address the fans about it, the same fans that he used to say were the most important thing . -
Clear penalty from several angles, ref right up with play, no question. But SMSM cannot allow this to go without changing the narrative so they find one angle where it's not so clear, use this footage repeatedly, talk about a soft decision constantly, then the narrative becomes 'sevco get help from refs'.

Was aberdeen around that far back?

Aberdeen have been like this against us long before Livingstone was their name and I don't think Meadowbank Thistle did much against us or them.
-
While Gerrard lifted us out of the mess we were in 4 years ago, up to a higher level, he always really was a player going into management. We needed someone like him at the time but too much revolved around the image and brand of Stevie G and when he lost interest, everything started to crack a little. His manner of leaving, the words before it, the silence after it then a few stock words meant to placate us in an interview was poor. I really don't see Gio being anywhere near the same. He's much more stable, professional, balanced and it clearly means a lot to him to be back. We've moved to the next level.

Tav played far deeper, especially in the first half.
