  1. Another Rangers employee gives the rhebel an interview. When will they learn? Ally, most of us know, or at the very least, have a good idea why you're staying and it's nothing to do with what's best for Rangers.
  2. Isn't playing for Rangers motivation enough? It certainly should be and a real Rangers Manager would have ensured this happens.
  3. To be honest, I couldn't say whether Billy Davies would be a good appointment or not. As has been said on here numerous times, he does have baggage. My main concern was that the Daily Rhebel tipped him on Wednesday morning. Were they hoping for another free ride at putting the boot into us? I don't know what was said in the article as I wouldn't read anything from that shit rag but it just got me wondering...
  4. Agreed. McCoist's "vision" of to hell with anything else, just get players in who have been over the course with other clubs so they will naturally do it for us and concentrate on winning a shit league just doesn't work. IMO we need a manager and coaches who can train, select, and motivate what we've got coupled with a bit of foresight to get the infrastructure in place so we can rebuild the club is what's required. No way can an inexperienced or temporary manager ever hope to do that at our club. I do appreciate the difficulty in planning for the future as well as the present especially with our perilous financial position but, somewhere out there, there has to be one who can do just that. Who? God knows, but we NEED to look hence the throwing open to applications with the criteria firmly spelt out to applicants so that they're in no doubt that we DON'T want another "quick fix" but a genuine working plan or project or whatever the modern buzz-word is.
  5. William Struth gave his all for Rangers. Ally McCoist gives his all for Ally McCoist. McCoist should never be mentioned in the same breath as true Rangers Managerial Legends.
  6. It certainly looks like that is where the leaks have been coming from as has been said on here before. Another indicator was when he didn't ask fans to renew season books. Add on some of his other moves and you begin to see a pattern developing (or maybe all this madness has made me paranoid )
  7. Also, the problem with certain ex players (Ally's mates) is that they don't give a fuck about the fans as Brown has just told us. They only care about their pal.
  8. I nearly forgot. McCabe took the 30 pieces of silver so he can F**K Off!
  9. We make it so easy for them. A clueless manager that sends a team out devoid of self-belief, confidence, tactics, fight - A board that shows no b***s to change this and doesn't defend the club against EVERY attack against us and is constantly in dispute with former board members - Said former board members encourage boycotts when the club desperately needs the money - Fans split. Journalists are like vultures and these so called "journalists" are circling waiting for the next bit of dirt they can dish and, sadly, it's never long in coming.
  10. They really are circling the wagons now: Ally McCoist: Charlie Miller voices support for Rangers manager By Jonathan Sutherland BBC Scotland Charlie Miller fears the knives are out for Ally McCoist at boardroom level - but he still believes his former team-mate is the right man to lead Rangers to the top flight of Scottish football. Pressure has intensified on McCoist after Rangers' 3-2 defeat at the hands of Alloa in the Petrofac Training Cup. "It looks as if people upstairs are sharpening the knives," said Miller. "A lot of fans have also gone against Coisty, which is unfortunate, because I still believe he can do the job." Rangers also trail Hearts by nine points in the race for the Scottish Championship title. Discussions between senior figures at Ibrox have taken place concerning a run of one win in four games. It is understood sacking McCoist and his assistants would cost the club around £1.4m. But Miller, who won five league championships with Rangers, says McCoist deserves the chance to take the club to the Premiership. "I still believe Coisty can do the job he expects to do, that he wants to do - and that is obviously getting us back to the Premier League," Miller told BBC Scotland. Ally McCoist and Charlie Miller played together during the 'Nine in a Row Years' at Rangers "I believe he deserves that chance, because he has held the club together for the last three years in my eyes. "I'm still at the point where I can't believe people are even speaking about sacking Coisty. I'm actually really, really upset about that. "And £1.4m is a hell of a lot of money for Rangers to give out and then bring someone else in who would maybe want to buy players in January. "It's a difficult one because we don't really know who's running the club. It's just a shame that it's got to this point." Rangers lost to Alloa at Recreation Park in midweek despite being 2-0 up with less than 20 minutes to play. McCoist's men went into that game boosted by a 3-0 Scottish Cup win over top-flight Kilmarnock at the weekend. "Obviously it was a disappointing result the other night," added Miller. "I don't blame Coisty for that, we were 2-0 up with 20 minutes to go. We've got a lot of experienced players on the field, they should have taken care of Alloa. "The buck ultimately stops with the manager, that's football, and Coisty understands that. "He's not a stupid man, he knows it's his team and if results aren't going the way they're expected then he's going to get a bit of abuse from certain quarters. "Coisty has a very good football brain, I knew that when I played with him. "I have never worked under him as a coach, so I can't talk about his coaching qualities. "Sometimes Rangers have been hard to watch this season - I'm not going to deny that. But some games have been magic, so that also has to be down to the players." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30349206
