  1. Chris Woods was no mug either.
  2. Apologies if this is elsewhere but yesterday's Guardian had a 25 minute podcast about the antics of our friends. https://www.theguardian.com/news/audio/2020/nov/23/i-have-been-quiet-for-50-years-standing-up-against-sexual-abuse-at-celtic-boys-club-podcast Will this be hushed up for ever?
  3. Clyde at home in front of 15000, won 5-0. Week after beat the sheep 4-0 at Hampden, crowd 82548. They boycotted the game at the piggery, crowd 28000, won 3-2. Best crowd 125514 v Hibs LC semi won 3-1. Won the league for nine in a row. Best win 8-1 home to Third Lanark. Thanks to gersnet
  4. So, club are responsible, 8â…žand pay the price, for the behaviour of spectators but not for players. Strange that.
  5. Problem is that the world in general is being pressurised to do it and we all follow like sheep. (These days we do seem to enjoy being part of the herd). You don't need to kneel to show you're non racist but i wouldn't want be the first player not to do it. World's screwed.
  6. Rather similar perhaps to the folk who see no reason why they shouldn't go to the beach?
  7. Jimmy and Denis Law best I've ever seen. Get well soon Jimmy.
  8. Loved him and his long range set pieces were always interesting
  9. He was good and sadly Derek could've been even better if he'd held himself together.
  10. We must remember these bastards.
  11. About time we got payback for the Phil O'Donnell stunt.
  12. Try and make sure someone notices, would be a shame to make such a sacrifice in vain.
  13. Lots of examples but they were the exception not the rule. This lot have been consistently out fought all year.
  14. Then there's the penalties.
  15. Well that's the whole point it's judgement call you make, could be right, could be wrong. You're making heavy weather of this .
  16. Repeat do you look at Goldson say and say yes he's a definite winner?
  17. Ok but doesn't mean the idea is invalid. For example do you look at say Goldson and think yes that boy's a winner?
  18. 're winning the league next year I believe it was ex Spurs manager David Pleat who said that when he first met players he straightaway marked them as winners or losers. How many of our current team could be described as winners? Not many.
  19. Good luck to him. What he did for other clubs is irrelevant, he always gave 100% playing for us.
  20. The charge also explains why the soap dodgers took such a ridiculous stance on Christie's ban, all just to blow it all out of proportion. But three weeks? Speaks volumes.
  21. Well remember him nearly putting Mojo into the Govan stand in Jan 87 with his first tackle,
  22. No, correct result. A terrible tragedy, all those who died or injured were completely innocent. But anyone who was around English football at that time cannot possibly believe that the fans played no part in events. The big mistake plod made was to try and show things in a better light because this tainted all their evidence. Duckenfield opened the gate for what he thought were good reasons, with hindsight an error of judgement. No more than that though, a human error. What is always conveniently overlooked is that everyone that day was personally responsible for their own actions, an outdated concept these days. The fans didn't have to charge through the open gate, and in all honesty I would have been one of them, and still claim innocence. Those without tickets didn’t have to go, those who were pissed didn’t have to be. They all made personal choices to behave as they did.As someone put it at the time those at the front were crushed because those at the back were pushing. You can't put it simpler than that.
