Sky News got shocking Video footage unreleased

And if ever there was an example of the BBC bias this is it, from their website "The Scottish Football Association has said it is "appalled" by scenes of disorder after Hibs' historic victory over Rangers in the Scottish Cup final. Fans spilled on to the pitch after the Edinburgh side beat the Ibrox club 3-2 with a late goal in injury time". Anyone just glancing at that would assume the fans were equally to blame. -

In this day and age, (when I heard this morning that a school had banned the whistle at the end of playtime because it was aggressive and might frighten the kids) it's interesting to see the politicians' response to yesterday compared to 1980 which produced a full blown Act. Wonder why that could be. -
Hillsborough: Verdict on 96 deaths to follow

Thing I don't get is that x tickets were sold for the Leppings Lane end. This would've been based on similar matches and considered safe. So where did all the extra fans come from? -

Just seen the Bury Hull game, reckon Arsenal definitely lent us the dud. Akpom plays the game as though he means it rather than some intellectual excercise in passing a football. -
Yes, we are top but not racing away as we were some weeks ago. At that time there was no question of being pushed into second place any time soon which there is now. Is that not glaringly obvious?
-
I just love the misguided arrogance of the "we're fine, you're just hysterical simpletons" brigade. Fact is the football has been poor for weeks as shown by the results and the position in the league table. The early season form can be well and truly forgotten, I'm just grateful that it provided such a good start because from here on it's going to be more of the same each week - unless changes are made. If however you prefer to belittle anyone who dares to be critical then carry on, believe whatever makes you happiest.
-
Dead right, the foul throws were very obvious. On the other hand thought the ref had a good game.
-
Why is concern and criticism translated as panic? The trend in results and performances is going the wrong way. May be just a blip, maybe not, time will tell. It is better than last year but the league table doesn't lie, no big gap at the top anymore. I personally don't have that warm superior feeling that promotion is in the bag, or maybe I'm just not wise enough.

A Sad Night For Scottish Football And Journalism...

Don't be unkind, just remember they once beat Barcelona. -
From the BBC website:- Manager Neil Lennon insists he will not step down from his post at Bolton Wanderers, despite a run of nine games without a win this season. The Trotters are third from bottom in the Championship, with the lowest goals tally in the division of 10. Bolton continued their winless run in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat by Ipswich Town. "I'll never quit. People say managers lose the dressing room, but they've got to worry about losing me," Lennon told BBC Radio Manchester. Obviously waiting for the Chelsea job.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but the ref had a good game, makes a pleasant change. -

Only thing is was LBJ right when he said, "better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in"? -
Runs like Andy Pandy, (for those of us old enough to remember).
-
I thought he might have found his touch by now, but the best of a bad lot. He did score freely for QoS but he was then playing in an organised and confident team who knew what they were doing. Our lot?

How Did Templeton Play On Saturday?
roger9650 replied to RANGERST1LLADIE's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I wonder if his confidence is a bit brittle? Didn't seem quite the same after he'd failed to take two good balls in quick succession in the first half down the left wing. -
Hearts - Obsessed Even When Celebrating.
roger9650 replied to SeparateEntityMyArse's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
They're entitled to celebrate. Sad reflection on today's society that this sort of thing is even regarded as news. It's not even worthy of being called trivia, it's nothing. -

Maybe he'll have time for a game of squash -
Passing back to the keeper, when under no pressure, is the best way of losing possession; it becomes a 50/50 ball at best. Why isn't it obvious to the Manager?

Why does the BBC not show a CG medal table?
roger9650 replied to roger9650's topic in General Football & Sport
Obviously it was available if you wanted to go and look for it. I'm not terribly interested in who's got the biggest dick but merely wondered why our unbiased broadcasting service was clearly avoiding virtually any mention of it. It seems to be a deliberate policy so who are they trying not to offend? Just curious.
