I'm being serious here. We are a fucking shambles and if you think that, that team are good enough for the SPL then I'll have some of what you're on.
It's embarrassing.

We've been playing this way in most games since March.

A valiant effort to list credible excuses.   I really don't think Rangers should be in a position this early in the season where we need to dig out an excuses handbook to provide some comfort.  We've repeatedly told by MW that the squad is fit and in good shape - it clearly isn't  We've been told we have hungry players keen to achieve success - it doesn't appear that way as yet.    We've been told by MW that he thinks we can 'more than compete' - not on recent evidence we can't.   DK tells us we are here to be 'competitive' - at this rate of progress what he really means is competitive in reaching a top 6 finish.   Sorry to put a pin in the excuses balloon,,,,,,,but you are right - it needs to be fixed pronto

Miller does a great job for us, but I think he should be used more as an impact player and come on for 30 mins more and more. I'd have liked to seen Dodoo there and let him get to grips with the home crowd and he and Garner could be a great duo for us, with MOH to back them up.

Would have preferred Dodoo starting ahead of Miller but other than that the team looks ok.

All we'll read for the next few days is Dave King and chequebook.
We do need investment but people don't want to look at the manager and his flaws.
Lack of investment isn't an excuse for not being able to pump Hamilton with the team we have.

Why are we not hitting a few more shots from distance. Even if the keepers holds it gives the crowd a lift. Lets them know we won't just walk the ball in

McKays final ball needs to find a Rangers player, not all McKays fault, players didn't move for him
Near post, that's where we need runners to hit, so many chances cut out last year in this area more than any other
McKay and Wallace cutbacks need to be converted now we are top flight

Actually its not.   At least that's not the whole point.  The first job is to go out there and deliver a win.   As much as I'm all for good performances unless they are capped by winning then they don't earn 3 points.   I know he knows this but surely by now he must learn to translate his statements into a clearer understanding that up here in Scotland at Rangers it is always first and foremost about winning.   The sound bite (and MW does like his sound bites) should be more like 'our job is to get 3 points and if possible perform well.'

Sammy and Lloyd. Sorry to point this out to you but we did actually ship 3 goals in 5 out of our last 9 games last season, not and average over ten games but still worrying. We didn't lose 1/2 our away games but we did fail to win 9 out of 18. This was in the Championship. My point is I agree with being positive but if you don't face facts, even if you don't like them you will not address the issues and sort it out. I appreciate we have revamped the team since last season but we have not addressed the defence and if we struggle to break teams down we could drop some frustrating points, ie games we are in control of but can't keep a clean sheet or score from multiple chances.
I believe we will challenge this season, but only with a tighter defence will we come out on top.
