  1. Muff, I've already stated a couple of time's I haven't seen him play very often. I'm voicing an opinion based on a few games, so I can't exactly be sure he's what we're lookin for. But then I don't watch every game of football this side of Jupiter, I have a life too
  2. To move Davo into the middle for the better of the team, I feel Davis's best position is CM. I haven't watched Gomis very often but when Utd have played us, I'm sure he floats across the midfield, so he should be comfortable in RM. They are professional footballers afterall, surely as a pro midfielder you can adapt across the main 4 positions. It's a bit different as a defender in terms of being competant in a variety of positions, right footed LB's aren't to my fancy as an example, but I think Gomis could play RM pretty well. (Honestly have only watched him against us though, so I could be wrong there)
  3. Completely paper thin, and Walters on about being priced out ? fuck sake
  4. I agree that all 3 would be good signings, but I think we are covered well in central midfield already. If Gomis was signed, then he should play RM, with Davo coming into the middle with Thommo & Conway on the left. Conway Thommo Davis Gomis
  5. Shame Ledley's chosen them, a real shame. Cos if they do get Bullard and Boateng, then they'll have a much better midfield than last season. COME ON RANGERS !! Need some new blood brought in or these fuckers will be more competitive than last year
  6. So true, and as he is not playing in blue. He's a cunt !
  7. If he has only signed a 1 year contract, and in one year he becomes a free agent. why would a club need to pay compensation to ICT ?
  8. i had money on Group G being the highest scoring group and it tied with 17 goals with another group. I was due to win 50quid, but Stan James paid me half because of the joint top scoring. I'd imagine bookies would do the same for joint top player scorers
  9. Why are we interested in another johnny foreigner that no-one knows about? One lad has already said about Murray Park, which i agree with the sentiment - we may aswell sack all our youths, cos there doesn't seem to be much faith put in them to step up to first team level. We've had a good few youngsters come through over the years, but this crop don't seem to have much of a chance - bar the obvious two or three (Fleck, Little & Wilson) In my opinion, we have a cracking group of youths who could step up if needed, be great to see them given chances to impress
  10. nice to see there was a RM exclusive then
  11. Re Opening Post : Celtic will spend more than us in transfer fee's, but that doesn't matter at all. We need to ensure we spend wisely, no Rothen's or Svensson's need apply.
  12. i'm looking forward to seeing which players we bring in. can't see there being too many brought in to accomodate a 3-5-2
  13. I had group G as the top scoring group at 4/1. Was due to get #50 aswell, but another group had 17 goals too, so Stan James gave me #25 ... grrrrrr
  14. i've stuck a fiver on him for the first goal tomorrow. I think I only got 4's ... possibly 5's for him.
  15. 10 quid on Group G being top scoring group @ 4/1
  16. the boy can finish, whether we really are in for him or not - is a different story
  17. hope you guys have a belting time
  18. what a setup fae xavi
  19. Petrov will be an amazing signing for any club, anytime I've seen him I've thought he was quality
  20. are you having a laugh ? Scotland have plenty of good players, we just can't afford many of the good players that aren't already at Ibrox.
  21. 3IAR in the bag ? ha, nice tongue in cheek post. We need a goalscorer & a few more good additions before we can think like that
  22. I've put 10 quid on this group being the highest scoring group, 4/1 odds with SJ
  23. Good Luck Boydy, you've been amazing for us. Now we will see if the rest of the lads can chip in with goals, instead of feeding Boydy I'm really looking forward to the new season, even though it'll be a hard job replacing Boydy's goals. On the plus side, we'll play in a slightly different style, if the new frontman is more mobile than Boyd. Looking forward to it
