BlueFrewExile reacted to Trooblue in John Bennett
I don't rate a central defender who rarely wins high balls in his own box, ducks behind strikers he is meant to be challenging, regularly allows attacking players to get on the wrong side of him, allows low crosses to run past him across the six yard box, and generally blames everyone around him for his own mistakes. His errors have cost us goals in important games. He wanted away last year (fair enough) and would have moved if anyone down south had come for him. That suggests that he certainly isn't a 'saleable asset'. Giving him a new 4 year contract was a mistake, in my view. I recognize that others, including most fans, the current and past manager, see Goldson differently, but that's my opinion of the guy.

Especially since just a few minutes earlier he'd booked Goldson for a foul just over the half way line which was one of those "take one for the team" yellows. But Lundstram was in a much better position when he was taken out.
Was another tackle that was yellowed that was probably a red. VAR can't come fast enough. We need semi-honest officials.

His foul on Lundstram was the most stonewall booking you are ever likely to see, player bearing down on goal space opening up in front of him getting ready to shoot then cynically taken out, his first half booking was a borderline red card too.

BlueFrewExile got a reaction from The Ibrox Derry in Kit for the final
Traditionally it would be the home team who had to change. The away team would generally travel light and turn up with just one kit. Whereas the home team had access to more kits. So it would be the home team who changed.
I'm a traditionalist. If anybody has to change it should be the home team, Frankfurt.

We’ve made two European finals since tarriers last won a European knockout game

BlueFrewExile got a reaction from goaaaal in The Captain - a Legend?
Had to laugh at the commentators saying he'd scuffed his cross into the box for the Arfield goal. He put a ball into box exactly where Roofe and Arfield were lurking, avoiding the paedo defenders. Yet it wasn't a good cross? Not all good balls into the box need to be airborne.

There's no chance of anything else happening to the player or the club. But surely this is a great opportunity to make sure that Michael Stewart never works in football again.

We are in bad form currently and Gio is under pressure, the comments on here show he is, but no chance the league is over. Both teams are utter dross, it’s just frustrating we can’t capitalise on them being dross

We should looking at Josh Doig to solve our left back issue. He is a cracking player, solid in the tackle, good on the ball and has a good engine. Worth thinking about anyway

At this rate big Fil will have put more Tims out of work than Thatcher.
They were clinging onto the "can't play in front of crowds" narrative. That result destroyed them.
