For those of us who are just concerned fans worried about our club - the notion that "my convicted felon is better than your convicted felon" was, and continues to be - preposterous.

I want the best manager available, Jack Ross has done well but its still untested in the top tier, I do think he should be in the conversation though, young manager with plenty of fresh ideas and a system that is entertaining.
 
In all honesty I probably would be underwhelmed by his appointment but that shouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, I'm sure if the Internet was available back in 91 a lot of folk would've been underwhelmed at the thought of an assistant manager with no previous experience as a number one taking over from Greame Souness.

I don’t disagree with a word of this but I think we’re in a position now where. I simply don’t believe that type of candidate is readily available to us (for a number of reasons) and of the names I have seen bandied about au don’t think they’d be any surer a bet than Murty. 

Yeah , had both Wigan & Everton playing some decent stuff at times but never seemed to grasp that possession and pretty triangles mean fuck all without an end product . As I said , It would show some ambition from the board if true and I welcome that , but I'm not sure I could go listening to more press conferences telling us that we had 60% possession and we will learn from another bad result an go again next week IMO we need someone more pragmatic who can get the players digging out ugly 1-0 wins when we've been shit and looked second best .

He also needlessly gave away the original free kick with some fuckin rank schoolboy wrestling , right in front of the referee . For someone with his cv , it's alarming how often he's been exposed by the cream of europes strikers this season , Simon Murray , Ryan Bowman etc .  

Agreed, whomever appointed that tit should have been shown the door with him. That bonuses were actually given out, is contemptuous. 
Done so much damage, and it's still going on, still no proper Manager, and all the consequences of that. 
 

Everyone is entitled to their views.Seems to me you though,don’t like the post as opposed to putting up an argument  as to what exactly you disagree with.I have read it in full and it’s pretty much spot on.We are better than we were but that’s not saying much when performances like today are still very much commonplace.If you follow your advice to the letter then the vast majority of fans after today will be extremely “fed up” leaving people like yourself who seem to consider themselves more staunch than the rest of us because we have the audacity to point out the current failings.Personally I would rather as a support we are hurting and  being honest rather than burying our heads in the sand like some.Displays like today are totally unacceptable and if people think they don’t merit criticism then you have to wonder how low they have set the bar for our great Club.
