I don't like it because it's not feasible. Who stops teams like Dundee from spending all their meagre club funds on players/staff etc at the expense of their pitch and then using a large amount of the pot to make up for it? FWIW I believe that is effectively what Dundee have done with their player spend this season. I would suggest the authorities set out a minimum standard re drainage etc and inspect prior to the season ko. Teams who do not meet the standard begin the season with a points deduction and any games cancelled due to the state of the pitch are played at a neutral venue or the away teams ground. All that can easily be in place for next season.

Honestly think that was due to the shock of gifting a goal after 22 seconds. Game plan out the window and the stadium silenced. It couldn’t have gone worse but it’s a mark of the team how they pulled it back in the second half.

I’ve said it before on here, Beaton’s performance when we played Hibs at Ibrox a few seasons ago was the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen. That said, he done well yesterday under massive pressure and scrutiny although the tarrier cheerleaders will never admit it.

Surprisingly half full. We couldn’t have got off to a worse start and that fluke goal totally knocked us off our stride. Their pen was another one of those crazy handball moments which also went against us. I’d have put my house on Butland saving their third , a very rare mistake by him imo. First half the whole team were awful. Despite all that we had a very strong second half and the title is still in our hands, we have to be optimistic.

Need to be careful here, any pitch can be made unplayable given certain extreme weather conditions. If, however, it can be proven that it’s down to poor expenditure on maintaining the pitch -as this clearly is given Utd’s pitch is fine - then forfeiture of points is the only real deterrent. We were slaughtered and punished over EBTs giving us an alleged advantage, surely email fc have gained an advantage by using potential maintenance cash on the Beck loan deal.

Clearly the pitch is still not playable, the worry is if this game goes ahead the pitch will be like a ploughed field for Wednesday. Email fc should be roasted for this shambles.
