It featured a statue of John Greig, who as you will know resigned as a Rangers director in October, 'walking away'. However, this statue was built to commemorate the 66 who died in the 1971 disaster and we now understand that some people have been offended that this animation uses that statue as part of a spoof. Furthermore, there was some confusion over his tweets which were intended to clarify the situation - he was trying to point out that he wasn't aware that this image could be interpreted in this way. To be clear, he was familiar with the memorial statue - but he did not expect the image to be interpreted as a comment on the Ibrox Disaster. Alex was very concerned that he may have tweeted something that could be interpreted as offensive, so when this was pointed out to him, he immediately deleted the tweet, and the link and issued an unreserved apology.
