Don't get the negative comments at all.
Not one member of the current squad has 'earned the right' to be captain so it's really who Warburton feels is right for the role.
Not sure why you would be disappointed if one of the most experienced guys in the squad got it.

35 year old gets a longterm injury he's going to struggle to get back and put in a season where he will be expected to play 95% of the games. If I'm wrong then it's a win/win but why take the gamble.
Everybody is shouting for experience that's fine but why does it need to be a 35 year old why not a player who's in his late twenties and can really do us a longterm job.
Because someone like Eustace at 28/29 would be playing elsewhere?

A top 6 English Championship player is more than capable of playing in the Scottish Championship,
His job will be to break up play and let others do the rest. The fact that he's 35 doesn't matter a great deal.

Well obviously but Warburton specifically mentioned adding value to the club presumably to sell on as otherwise if he was just talking about to help get promotion then why mention adding value to the club as that would be a given
I don't think you understood 1 word Warburton said if you think he meant value was pure and simply sell on value.

I like this sort of signing to be honest.
I can understand people being optimistic about it, it's natural to be about a new signing but what I don't get is Rangers fans being needlessly negative about it??
I think at 200k at a fairly young age it's worth any potential risk. He's playing a season in the Scottish Championship remember.

it's nice to be talkinjg about stuff like transfer kitties, wage bills etc. again rather than shares, loans, boardroom shite.
That's the only financial stuff we should have to worry about ( how much are we getting for players).
