Well… basically aye. Our players will get plenty of abuse from opposing fans without us adding to it too.

Is It Time For A New Captain ?

I still think people seriously overestimate the importance of an armband. -

This. Mental that anyone would expect him to change it immediately if at all. -
Welcome to Rangers, Philippe Clement!

Both football managers as well. The list goes on. We’re doomed. -

Bald, European, last managed in France, first name starts with a P, both reportedly turned down more lucrative offers to come here, both come here with 3 league titles to their name, both in their 40s when they joined us. Other than that though they’ve nothing in common though so we’ve nothing to worry about. -

Having a ready made replacement for years to come and punting him for the first half decent offer because we wouldn’t drop Tav is typical Rangers though. That armband has made him untouchable for too long. -

Raskin isn’t off form he’s just nowhere near as good as he was hyped up to be. Lammers and Dessers. If you needed a couple of bodies for 5s you would seriously consider just playing 4v4 before messaging them. -
Absolute donkey.

Not sure I could see Gallardo working well in Scottish football if I’m honest.
-
Good luck to him. Absolutely no pressure on him as he can’t really do any worse than the muppet he’s replacing.

Funnily enough Culshaw is in Saudi Arabia with Gerrard while the brains were left behind. -

Cannot be arsed if it’s going to be something shite and predictable like Muscat or McInnes. -

Managers don’t quit. If they quit there’s no payoff. -

Souness is nowhere near qualified to be in the position to hire a manager for us in the first place. He’s a pundit and that’s all he’s been for years. -
Hiring inexperienced managers post-Smith

No. But only 2 of those on your list had managed 0 league games before taking charge of us. McCoist took charge of a couple of cup games under Walter Smith as he was clearly being prepared for the role so not quite 0 games for him. -

So you’ve started a thread criticising us for choosing inexperienced managers but then said you consider 2 of the least experienced on the list as successful appointments? -

You left out Le Guen who had less games under his belt than both Gio and Pedro but came with 3 league titles to his name so you were cherry picking anyway. Probably why you’ve said post Smith in the first place. -

Paul Le Guen had managed 155 games before he came to us. Was he inexperienced? -

Someone that’s managed 254 or 199 games is not inexperienced. -
He’ll have missed the target and bid on Sima’s instead.
