How can it be a red never mind a yellow when he legitimately played for the ball with a timed interception it's the delinquent lunging in who caused his own peril but our player who cops a ban for it. Incompetent officiating imo in both cases as anyone who watches that in real time can see Cifu is not rash in anyway in his approach to playing the ball .

No surprise but I think this sets a precedent in that you now cannot make a legitimate timed tackle for the ball because as far as I'm concerned their player lunged in and excarbated the end result which was not taken into account . Regardless of what we think of Cifu he's one of our players and it's not the first time we've been done over by onfield decisions that didn't merit the consequences given the Amount of cheating and playacting in tussles and fair challenges now being exaggerated to the point of punitive action not being taken against perpetrators upshot Is the officiating is so fucking diabolical these tactics of cheating to win free kicks ,penalties are now rewarded in what is effectively a competitive sport . When the officials suddenly find something that's brought the game into disrepute it's often as a result of their malaise to don fuck all to eradicate thuggery or wanton cheating by exercising the laws of the game . They are as fucking culpable and no amount of raw deal shite they get from sfa etc will convince me.. I thought he played well overall last night a few needless passes that caused problems but who hasn't or doesn't do that in this squad collectively they still do it causing counter attacks and goals albeit fewer of late. He's stepped up in recent weeks like a few others so all good provided they get back to being a unit .

Tough watch that game tonight started well despite the final ball being pretty poor a lot of the time in the final third . Some of our forays out of defence were poor giving the ball away through rubbish passing putting us under pressure . Yilmaz I thought played very well getting tackles in and winning headers over taller players and getting forward ,him and young Mcausland were my two best players first half not forgetting Butland . Some of the play from Rangers was very good both halves but the amount of sitters shows we need to be far more clinical to bury ugly fucking teams like tonight . They've a fucking brass neck greetin about added on time given the fucking about on the park as well the ten or so throw ins they got changing footballs rubbing them on their shirts generally being a bunch of time wasting wankers . These wee traits from these cunts are tolerated by weak officiating our team need to bury these bastards early like we did a few weeks back to their junkie cousins only then will we really start wiping the floor with these cunts .

At times defensively Id agree with with you on that, there are times his stupidity gets the better of him as the guy was going nowhere and he does need to be more mature .

Fair play to the young guy with his competence in an awkward entrance to a game he coped very well showing composure in his play that was barely on show from the majority that started before him. He took his goal well and be proud of the composure he displayed whilst other shitbags around him managed to remain on the park whilst displaying the same ineptitude Cantwell was hooked for. 2

I'd happily see him benched or out the picture altogether shows abilities at times but far too timid & inconsistent to even merit a place on the bench . i just dont see it with this guy he has five or ten minute spells of competence but overall his passing & awareness is abysmal . Anyone of that midfield or forwards could have been hooked last night given the ineptitude of that opening half . Cantwell's loss of possession leading to a goal was a factor but he was far from blameless a little earlier An Aris push on our goal came off the back of poor defending from Ciffuentes by not intercepting the midfielder he had carelessly given the ball to then didn't intervene on the edge of the box after tracking back as the forward was about to have a dig . I like Cantwell and what he brings to the team in an attacking sense even last night his defensive duties were pretty decent early doors especially at The Govan front end intercepting or snuffing out a threat on that side of the park as Aris sought to make something from our general piss poor ball control. As unacceptable as last night was overall I hope Cantwell's substitution serves as a marker to the majority of them barely showing a competent ability to even control a ball or make a simple pass as last night was a fucking shambles they ought to be embarrassed that a young guy blew them out the fucking water with a competent display of composure in his passing and control of the ball.

That was a fuckin shambles tonight absolutely no control.of the game . The passing ,movement on and off the ball was shambolic only two starting players for me made an impact in Butland & Lundstram . A really disjointed performance today despite the chances off the woodwork that aside we were poor going forward continually having to find a way through them . The passing was pretty poor or balls over the top met with poor first touch or passing falling back to them only good interventions prevented them getting something from the counter attack given they'd scored one and been clear through twice with cracking stops from Butland . I never felt we were getting anything from the game however the subs made a good input but as that clock ticked down it was looking like a defeat . The shirt pull was exactly that and given the three games I watched last night had var input then they can't complain in all honesty . We certainly got a result.today but it has to be a far better display from our players more so when your rivals drop points and we don't take full advantage of that if memory serves they've dropped points three times and only once have we had a win from that . If that's the case it needs changing before it goes beyond leaving ourselves a mountain to climb.

Absolutely and so far it's ten times better than what we've watched previously. What I found most frustrating about yesterday was how easy we fell back Into a rut and lost our way in controlling the game for a good 30-35 mins either side of HT due in part to the constant delays and shitey tactics of Livingston . We stopped challenging for the ball the passing went to shit having blown Hearts away last week by not allowing them to adopt the shite house tactics we remained in control yesterday I felt we naively fell into the spoiling tactics far too easily as in the past many times where it cost us from a single goal lead to clawing our way back into games . We really should be wised up to these teams who employ this crap and.play like we did against Hearts ,getting a two goal advantage early is another WIP we need to become more clinical at.

Missed his yellow although his skills leading to the Danilo effort late on were superb . His previous yellow against hearts I thought was not merited . Just make or score the winner in January to send his biggest fan over the edge .

Agreed we should have been out of sight I certainly don't want to go back to the shite like Aberdeen at Ibrox scoring in the first few minutes then spending the next 85 minutes feigning injury or using spoiling tactics ably assisted by incompetent officiating by rewarding that bullshit with free kicks etc. All it did and still does is to some.extemt.is hinder our performances but when we are flying out the traps we can be some team to watch it's been far too long since yet it's still the same core of players who should have no fears about this league when all said and done .

The pont is on the display not a comparison of managerial styles I've stated as much in how the players display at that point in the game today was reminiscent of a Beale display . I felt he should have had Cantwell on earlier for that very reason we were in a rut at that point the 15 minutes after restart was rubbish in terms of our players input. I've no doubts Clement is a major step up and it's been shown since he took the job in terms of displays . Today we got bogged down for the most part especially after the break and it was then we needed fresh input into the game as Livi found far too much space where we weren't challenging and got more than a few runs on our defence in and around our box a lot of that came off a Livi press or passing that wasn't good enough from us despite time and space in a few instances upshot we're on the back foot.

The quality for.large parts of the game after our opening spell was poor akin to watching a game under Beale . I thought Cantwell should have been brought on around 60 odd minutes to get us out the rit we were in we weren't winning or holding the ball enough .

Made hard work of it though not helped by the constant interruptions through var and fannnying about from Livingston and at times our poor play .

I'm fine.when.Rangers can bury teams like they did against Hibs and last week Hearts and not be suckered into negativity which they avoided against Hearts last week but fell into it against Livingston then I'll have no complaints

What was good about that game today outwith the first 20 minutes ? Your talking shite if you think that was a competent display It's one thing to grind out a result or get a win against the odds I'd say reluctantly as we did against hearts which was by far worse than today.
