Agreed watching him this and last season domestically he'd downed tools wether Rangers had or hadn't offered him a new deal as early as a year ago it would have been absolute folly given his input in games was abysmal over the piece to some extent he wasn't alone but no manager should be tolerating half arsed runs into the box knowing it's about to come to nothing where he could have passed the ball or ensure you at least get by or win the impending duel on the edge of the box by skill or pass not to continually play it into the feet for defenders to easily take possession from you imo the wee cunt  knew exactly what he was doing every game with this half arsed attempt knowing numbers were tight with injuries etc hence his continual starting place even before Gio came in .

Sorry to see SA leaving as above through the last couple of years especially when others had downed tools he was always one you'd look to or count.on to make something happen whilst the other two Morelos and Kent fucked about in the League games they should have been the ones like SA working for the team like at Aberdeen where his contribution turned that game on its head .

Whilst the majority of the tweets etc will go to Kent and Morelos. Arfield deserves far more recognition than I think he'll get. He's been a wonderful servant to Rangers. Never caused an issue, stepped up with big goals even when he wasn't playing all the time. A big reason in Gerrard taking us back to where we belong. Him, Davis and McGregor. Even things like our first CL goal in 12 years.
Hopefully theres still 1 more Saturday night Scotty Arfield. Always welcomed back.

He will go down as our record goalscorer in Europe but I feel the past 24 months have been a huge disappointment in terms of his effort and professionalism.

I thought he was a disgrace ignored the continual diving and pulling of shirts ,blatant obstructions when we were going forward be it through a tight group of three or one on ones and allowed them a good few lunges but saw fit to do fuck all until we had a few debatable tackles then the cards flew .
