Decent performance more so in the second half as we go looking for the second goal.
First half was scrappy until Diamonde's peach of a strike .
Dessers fucking hells bells he's so indecisive in front of goal benching.him could be for the best in regards to making an impact for now we have variety in our goalscorers which might see us through till other players come back.
Hearts next up I think will be as massive as the last few to get where we are @tm Shanklands been working defences pretty well and very  effectively  last four or five games and I would expect the same next week it's a game we will have to be on the front foot for .

Both to blame IMO. Goldson gets caught wrong side, by a ball in behind over the top, again. Fails to stop the cross. Then Souttar loses his man.

Souttar too. Picks up the ball from Butland and needlessly dribbles it out for a corner at 2-1.
Goldson lets defenders get on top of him while he’s playing around with the ball way, way too often.

Just back at times tonight some of the passing was outstanding it certainly reflected the shots on goal .
We should have buried them tonight sloppy.defemding costs us again although it was a cracking finish it should have been snuffed out Goldson gave too much space to the lad ditto Souttar .
Happy we are now at Level pegging & puts us right into contention for the run in .

I don't think he's shown enough in the time he's been here. The "impact" he had last season was overblown, based on the fact Kamara had checked out.
I did see some favourable stats for him recently (not goals and assists) but he doesn't pass the eye test. I do want to give him some time to get back up to speed after his injury but he's certainly not at the top of the midfield pecking order.

Fucking laughable. headline last night on STV news @6 with them claiming the letter was an unprecedented attack on the SPFL then went onto report completely the opposite as to the content and actual causes of the letter in the first place absolutely pathetic attempt at a cover up whereas the reality is they ignore the content of the material despite it explicitly defining the reasoning .
Really pathetic how far up their arse the Scottish media is

The McLennan statement for those who missed it. Seemed to go right under the radar for whatever reason.

    SPFL PRESS RELEASE: 22/01/24
DRAFT INDEPENDENT REVIEW OF GOVERNANCE WELCOMED BY SPFL CHAIRMAN
SPFL chairman Murdoch MacLennan said he was “reassured, but not complacent” following a major independent review into the governance of the league.
The three-month review was carried out by independent external auditors Henderson Loggie and involved detailed questionnaires and interviews with 15 stakeholders, including senior executive team members, non-executive directors, and other senior figures in the game.
Henderson Loggie were appointed in October 2023 by a sub-committee of the SPFL Board, chaired by SPFL independent non-executive director Karyn McCluskey.
The draft report, which the Board will now take time to consider, focused on three main areas:
    A review of SPFL corporate governance policies and procedures;
A review of SPFL Board meetings to assist the Board’s effectiveness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; and
A review of SPFL internal control systems to ensure they are effective and are mitigating risks to the organisation.
In its overall conclusion, Henderson Loggie found that the SPFL demonstrates compliance with significant elements of the UK Code of Corporate Governance, where it is applicable. Henderson Loggie found that the SPFL is strong in terms of commercial expertise and knowledge, with a diverse range of skills available to provide support and challenge to the SPFL executive team.
SPFL independent chairman, Murdoch MacLennan said: “This has been an extremely valuable and constructive exercise, and I am grateful to Karyn McCluskey and the 15 participants for their considerable time and effort in helping to produce such a comprehensive and detailed draft report.
“Having reviewed the draft report in detail, I am reassured but not complacent. Henderson Loggie have made a number of recommendations to further strengthen SPFL governance. We will now take time to consider Henderson Loggie’s detailed recommendations before bringing suggested changes back to the 42 SPFL Member Clubs for their consideration."
Mr MacLennan added: “It’s important to note that Henderson Loggie used the UK Code of Corporate Governance as a basis for its activity, against which we were judged.
“Despite the fact that the SPFL remains a small and highly focused organisation with just 13 full-time employees, it was agreed, given the scale of operations of the SPFL and the status of the organisation, that adherence to the general principles of good governance described in the UK Code of Corporate Governance were an appropriate and proportionate benchmark in this instance.
“Whilst a number of the recommendations from the draft report are already being addressed, the Board and the wider organisation will, of course, take all necessary steps to improve further on the excellent work which has been undertaken to date.”

when i saw him starting over silva i didn't think it was the right call given how that mob play as he wouldn't be as effective as say Silva who technically is streets ahead of most of what we have .
for me the match pretty much passed him by he had his moments but ultimately silvas input was far superior for the team when he came on as the other threats in matondo .yilmaz and Mccausland were dampened as they upped their press nullifying our threat to some extent as the first half drew to a close .
Now we have more of a threat in going forward with at least six players we need to up the anti in terms of killing these teams off early.
Like most I think Dessers has a part to play but not to be the main threat in games where its going to be a toil sometimes we dont help ourselves but with more of a threat provided we are moving the ball quickly we should be looking to bury teams earlier and take the sting out the game .

Big Phil said it was planned to start Dressers because of the physicality of their centre backs. Dressers was to tire them out and Silva could then exploit it when he came on. Which worked perfectly.
    It's brilliant squad management.

When it was one each, twice their goalie wasted time by wandering away to retrieve the ball at the touchline rather than go to the ball boys immediately behind the goal. In the last few minutes, it was quite funny to see him frantically looking around for the ball while the ball boys stopped proactively offering him the ball.

Cracking start to the game Matondo was on good form but faded alongside Yilmaz allowing them to snuff out our threat and we resort to the pedestrian passing after easily getting the ball beyond them on both sides of the park in that first half .
Two cracking goals and in the build up but we really should have been out of sight in that first half their usual shithousery impacts on our dominance not helped by some poor passing as they upped the press some of the time wasting from these cunts is pathetic to watch its all faked and still these gullible officials tolerate and reward it .
Their goal was sloppy as fuck  all started by Dessers not controlling a simple ball in their half then the defence goes to sleep
The red card I thought was ridiculous the lad clearly slipped on the turf as he glided onto his arse via his heels in what would have been an otherwise legitimate tackle for the ball.
The amount of Injury time i don't know where they got that from apart from trying to cover their arses in what they rewarded the mutton moletsters in time wasting .
Even better to see those cunts struggle four times in that Govan/Copland corner trying to get the ball back from our players as they ran down the clock.
Great result but we need to be more clinical and less sloppy in allowing these cunts back into the game .

He can’t really do anything really well.
like run, pass, hold the ball up, find space, stay onside, pull players out of position, make the keeper make a save, shoot rather hard, header, jump, dribble or score on a regular basis.

He also was to blame for their goal tonight as he couldn’t properly control a ball to knock it down to Cantwell he kinda made a jumping motion when the ball was cleared up to him - it looked awful

I thought eight minutes reflected what happened, but if you’re the team wasting the time, then it should be cancelled if you’re then looking for a goal. You wasted the time, fuck you!
