  1. NO. Anybody who has watched his Birmingham side will see lots of running/effort but no flair in the performances. Last season started well then they tired, had run of of 10 games approx without win and dropped down the table, this season the performances were same. Brum fans were split over Rowett, but they preferred him to Zola.
  2. I know people want a new manager, better coaching, better tactics, better players, we all want a vast improvement this season as we must gain promotion. The defence is poor whether because of bad players, bad organisation, bad coaching or a combination we have to improve, this is probably the most important season in our history. McCoist, MacDowall and Durrant were all attacking players and have no idea how to set out a defence, 11 players in the box at set pieces is not the answer even then we still find it difficult to win the ball. Last season we didn't lose many league goals but only because of poor finishing by the opposition, teams created lots of chances against our defence but couldn't finish, this season the standard against us should be higher. I would bring in a defensive coach, ex-players have offered to help and work for nothing, no matter what we will have the same management team and they obviously don't have a clue how to organise a defence so we need help before it is too late.
  3. A new Rangers pub has opened in Blackpool. Anybody going to Blackpool and looking for somewhere to watch Rangers games or any big matches try THE GALLANT PIONEER, it is situated opposite the south pier on Station Rd, 60 yards down street on the right. I was in Blackpool 2 weeks ago and tried the pub, well decorated, big screens, plays all the tunes, good beer and reasonable prices and I met a few fellow bears and enjoyed being in the company of like minded people. ps pub is upstairs so may not suit some people but for most a good experience. WATP.
  4. I read an article a few months ago by William Poole, it was about shellic directors and players being involved in a film industry investment scheme. In the past couple of weeks it has emerged that Gary Barlow used a similar scheme for tax avoidance called a music industry investment scheme and was taken to court by HMRC and has been ordered to pay them £20m. I wonder if the authorities and media will pursue shellic with the same vigour as we were, is it too much to expect?
  5. I read a lot from people who support the U of F but I have never met anybody who does, I have seen lots of kids with posters or shouting their support but no grown ups. I am not saying they sometimes don't make good points they do but as far as representing the fans I think that would be the tail wagging the dog. I am a member of the assembly thru my supporters bus, Andy Kerr is president and part of the U of F but he does not speak for any assembly members I know. The assembly facebook page does not keep members up to date, they don't have meetings and I'm not sure when the president was re-elected or if he has been. I would not trust the supporters Trust, or the Sons of Stuth, Craig Houston has said previously he was going to speak to major shareholders in London but why would they speak to someone who represents very few fans, have the Murray's anything to do with that. Chis Graham a blogger and fans spokesman, which group of fans elected him. RTID.NI, NARSA, ORSA these three groups represent a lot of fans, I do not believe they are part of U of F, if that is the case who do the U of F really represent, their own agendas, the Murrays, I know it's not me. I would like Dave King to be on the board but I strongly disagree with holding back season ticket money that would allow the people holding the funds to hold the club to ransom.
  6. Any version of TBB we sing will always have some fans singing the words which are deemed offensive. I would willingly sing any version because nothing gets Ibrox bouncing like TBB. No. 3 and 11 seemed the best of the choices. I never had access to the forum when suggestions were being submitted or my suggestion would have been, Hello Hello we are the Billy Boys Hello Hello you'll know us by our noise We are the Glasgow Rangers We're Rangers till we die For we are the Bridgeton Derry Boys Whatever version we sing let us sing loud and proud because WATP.
  7. I may be wrong but is Walter Smith and Sandy Jardine not part of the committee who decide where the RFFF is used. Some of the committee who decide how to spend the funds are part of the Union of Fans with Craig Houston, I would think they have a conflict of interest and should have no part in any decision. As one of many fans who helped raise funds for Glasgow Rangers I strongly object to any funds being used against the club. I believe there should be no proposed vote on this subject as ordinary fans would not decide, this decision would be taken by people who have the same agenda as Craig Houston and could have majority and swing any vote in their favour. All funds should be used only for the reason intended, Glasgow Rangers Football Club. WATP.
