  1. I'm a legal secretary working out of Edinburgh. Are you an imbecile working out of Glasgow?
  2. How can we be getting 5 players on loan from Newcastle when there is a restriction of 2 players from any one club from a different division? A maximum of 2 players over 21 too?
  3. Some folk obviously have not seen fight club...so... There are no American tanks in Baghdad. Anyone else who still claim they sing anything other than "Big Trophies" we shall just have to sit them down with a pencil and bit paper...or a stencil and erasier.
  4. Michael Stewart with some bizarre comments there...he said conditions got better! At the start of the game we were playing on snow...by the end we were playing on ice. It was right to give the game a chance...but it just didn't work out. Why thew pitch wasn't cleared though is a mystery. Even with under-soil heating on you have to clear snow, plus it takes 48 to fire in so if it had been switched on when the snow started falling it was a useless exercise.
  5. I'm Really not too worried about tea & buscuits, or a bottle of HP sauce in the canteen...you can argue all day about diet but what you eat while doing a job that requires cardiovascular activity is not that important (within reason). I'd be more worried what these guys are eating and drinking away from the training ground. What is more concerning reading that is the lack of any diciplined regeime, if it's there in the training work you do you can allow a bit more leeway on other things like food in the canteen or the ocational pizza after a match. But the whole set up reads like a script for a Jackass film rather than a setup of a top professional sports club. I have no doubt it is real. Heard similar stories from other sources first hand. Grim reading.
  6. Without a club - No compy to pay. Govan Boy. Improved every club he has been at. Not a nutter e.g. Billy Davies. His sides play attractive football. Takes no nonsense. Respected coach and manager. Would love the job unlike McDowell. Has scouting contacts throught Europe. Would be inexpensive and take a short term deal - giving us the option to extend it if things worked out.
  7. Folk talking on here about shapes, formations and selections when it's the whole ethos of how we play that is the problem. We are lucky not to be 3 goals down.
  8. Ages of Dunfermline players who featured. Goodfellow - 20 Smith - 20 Whittle - 21 Graham - 18 Young - 19 Martin - 18 Spence - 18 Mercer - 18 Williamson - 18 Byrne - 21 They had their youth coaches playing too and only one of those players were making their debut, most are all into double figures on appearances according to their website. And they are ahead of 3rd place in the league by 12 points.
  9. 2nd hand info, but from a very good source. "Not an effing chance Boydie will come back to Rangers." Don't think KB has the love of the club that once he had.
  10. Mohsni has the better hair. Hendry was better looking. Hendry the better player, but we did not see the best of him.
  11. I'm a fan of Ally and always shall be, that does not mean I have to support his continued tenure as manager. I am a Rangers fan first and foremost, but I think Ally's departure is as important for his future as it is our football club. We can't fault the man for wanting the job as manager, but he must realise that it is in the best interests of all concerned that he goes and I hope that decision is made by him and he does not put the decision in the hands of others for the sake of a payoff.
  12. Without artistic license I'm pretty sure any one of 40 other managers in the Scottish professional leagues could have matched McCoist's achievement of winning League One, and done it with half the budget, 10% of his wage and without the need for expensive hotels when playing at places like Forfar and Methil. I'm pretty sure many junior, amateur and juvenile bosses could have done so too.
  13. Success... Spending a Formula One budget to win a wheelbarrow race. Mmmmm ok Ally.
  14. I've delt with corporate sports sponsorship in my job, these deals are usually quite intricate affairs with varying levels of investment depending on sporting achievement and new business generated. 32 Red (tagline second to none) are one of the more established online betting firms, I'm hopeful about the new deal, although the devil will be in the detail and I doubt we will get knowledge of the intricacies of the arrangement.
  15. Forfar are quite a physical team, if the undefeated record is important (don't really care myself now tbh), perhaps this is not the game to throw the kids in. I would keep the same team from Saturday with perhaps Gallagher and Clak coming in to start.
