Probably the most I have seen a manager affect a game. He took the players by the scruff of the neck (figuratively) and drove them to victory. When I saw him appear on the touchline I just knew he would not accept defeat and the players could see that as well. Class.

They’ve already did that when the powers that be changed the rules so aberdeen didn’t get relegated even though they finished bottom of the league. A fucking disgrace. 1999, and his time in charge coincided with some of the heaviest defeats in the club's history, together with the first time the club had ever finished bottom of the league – the ensuing relegation play-off with Falkirk being avoided as Falkirk did not have a ground which met Premier League standards.

I heard the aussies are the best managers. Especially the fat ones. Is Harold Bishop still available?

That was a brutal match for both of them. Neither deserved to lose. Got a lot of respect for Delpo, just such a shame how injuries hampered his career so much.

Written complaint to SFA about Clancy
Wullies_bowly_legs replied to middli's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Making this complaint as a one-off will achieve the sum of fuck all, but if we use this as a start and make sure we highlight the more ridiculous ones each week (and there are plenty ), then the pressure will start to build on the sfa and the refs. The more that biased idiots like clancy are exposed, the better it will be for us and the game in general. -
What should the club be doing about clancy

Also have to add, although probably not needed to, but what a wanker lego is. -

Cannot believe our defender in the first clip. All he has to do is spin to the side and the player runs offside. Even if he doesn’t the free kick is coming from deep and the keeper has time to come out and claim it. The one on Borna is a bad one as he was holding the guy for the first elbow but not the second. -
Welcome to Rangers, John Souttar!

Still never seen anyone better with the legal use of the arms/elbows to lever himself in front then go past players with that short burst of speed. -
Now come on guys be fair. I expect the Iranian chap will be looking forward to playing at Ross County with orange balls and 100 mph winds.

From then it was 2r, Qf,Qf, Absent, 4r, Qf, in the slams. ATP final DNQ. ATP Masters absent 5 out of 9. The other 4 were no wins. Also never won a slam from the French 2016 until Wimbledon 2018. Seems a drop off to me.

Great player but never trusted him when his game all of a sudden dropped off. Just at the same point as Sharapova got the drug ban. Out for a good while, looked gaunt etc then returned after out for a long injury?? No way he could have been getting himself clean surely.?

These likely incoming bids...
Wullies_bowly_legs replied to MVRanger's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
The other thing that will have to be taken into account is how Gio will want to set his team up as he settles in. At the minute he is stuck with SG’s signings based on SG’s style of play, There is talk of players like Itten coming back and being given a different role similar to teams down south by dropping deep to use possession as he is not a target man. Will Gio change setup or stick to a 4-3-3 or use a player like Lundstram as the 1, in a 4-1-2-3. And before everyone jumps in about how crap Lundstram is I’m not defending him. Certainly going to be interesting to first see how he wants us to play and secondly what players he wants to keep or get rid of. -

There are pros and cons for his management career with us and as with most emotive football arguments people tend to bring up the one that suits them best. However, how he conducted himself at the end with us was not befitting a Rangers manager. He let himself and the club down with the underhand way he behaved and then afterwards all the quotes and soundbites to put himself in the best light. To see how a real Rangers manager should conduct himself you only have to look at Mr Walter Smith. -
Looks like we might be in deep shit now. Evidently the scum are not only the most passing team in football, they now get the most corners. Score fuck all from them though.

Just had to check out kerryfail street to see the meltdown and honestly someone has posted this. I had a bad feeling about this game. Especially when I read all the malarkey re St. Mirren being 'ravished' by Covid and having to play kids . It must be a joke!! Surely it must be a joke. Aaaaaargh.

Ajax The scum hate any kind of cleaning product. -
No. Arthur didn’t stand off wingers, he didn’t dive in. Usually just took the ball off them with the minimum of fuss.

Remember another left back that would shepherd a player out of the danger area, very rarely was off his feet as he said you couldn’t counter a player if you were on the ground. He was pretty good as well - Arthur Numan.

Do they get a trophy for being top of that league.
