  1. Regarding Tav can someone tell me how many goals he has cost us this season. Also how many has he scored or he has created? He flatters to deceive when he attacks as his crossing & shooting have been piss poor.

  2. The comments on "foreign" players attitude to playing reminds me of many comments from Rangers players. I kept hearing about them pulling the hairs on their legs at corners or standing on their toes. Another favourite was after they fouled you they would help you up and supposedly pat your head but were actually pulling your hair. I also remember Colin Stein & big Derek J saying they put shinguards on the back of their legs as well as the front.

  3. Listening to his summarising today and thought he was excellent. Despite being an ex Ger at one point he certainly didn't hold back criticising MW's tactics, and he was right. Mind you he is not up against much on some other channels.

  4. Jock Wallace to Dunfermline player Ken Mackie on him saying I need time to think about signing for Rangers. Not verbatim but along the lines of "Son if you need time to think about signing for us then we don't need you" Ken Mackie never heard of again.

Boys at 5 a side (fans of other scottish clubs) were saying they had heard a rumour about waggy intentionally putting on weight so that he was over the threshold that warburton sets for each player. dunno what substance it has. I stopped listening and continued my warm up.

"Warm up" for 5 a sides!!!!!

Fek sakes just get on with it.

  6. Talking of baseball one of the great jokes in the Chan 4 series Cheers which I didn't pick up on until recently was how NON famous Sam Malone actually was. He was relief pitcher for the Boston Red Sox who hadn't won anything of significance for about for about 80odd years. So effectively he was the equivalent of the second team striker for the likes of Hibs. :001::001::001:

I think you've summed up the difference, and rather than embrace that and enjoy it, I was comparing it to a football game back home and didn't appreciate being in one of American sport's iconic venues.

I also passed Candlestick Park in San Francisco a few times and hoped to take in a game there, I didn't know it had been demolished last year.

I didn't know it had been demolished that was where The Beatles played their last ever public concert

  8. As long as I can remember "A Bluenose" has been an affectionate term for a Rangers supporter and wonder if anyone knows where it came from.

To the best of my knowledge I first heard it being used by an uncle who supported Airdrie round about the mid to late 50's.

Please don't tell me it is now a derogatory term and is on a banned list!!!
