What a fuckin train-wreck of a thread, we have guesswork, supposition and insults all over the place.
Unless I've missed it, no-one, anywhere, has yet been able to state who was banned and for what i.e. we don't know what the "offences" are that's led to the banning orders.  But I'd be surprised if the club has banned anyone without damning pictorial or video evidence of the individuals engaging in disorder, to the point of being almost indefensible....but then I'm guessing too aren't I...  What I can accept is that many fans went onto the pitch because they were concerned for the safety of others, for those, I commend their action, but I'm also not naive enough to think there wasn't anyone who only went down for a scrap.
Following that, there's the fact Rangers have acted prior to charges being answered and convictions.  Remember a football club (or any proprietor) does not have to provide evidence to the same degree as a court will demand to justify a decision (in fact they probably even don't have to give any!).  Whilst I agree that this action may be prejudicial, Rangers have acted within their rights.  A proprietor can refuse entry to anyone they like, regardless of whether they've paid or not, if they have reasonable grounds for doing so.  I don't agree with this action, and perhaps bans could have been deferred by the club, but their actions wouldn't be found illegal.  Individuals should take it up with the club if they feel wrongly treated but, as I said, I'd be surprised if banning orders were issued without substantial evidence.
Talking of banning, wonder how many have been banned from the forum as a result of comments on this thread because "they've low post counts not agreeing with the populist view".  
Some posters who are not joining in on a certain track in the debate are being called scumbags, worse than tims etc.  Even our board, who, in the main have been doing all the right things over the last 18 months are being called "the scumbag bastards that run our club" amongst other things.  Jesus wept.  The Rangers support is broad cross-section, all creeds and colours and opinions and views welcome.  Seems some on here want Rangers fans to be on their wavelength only, or you can gtf. 
 

If he produces the same 2 goals in any game in the SPL I for one and I'm pretty sure 40 odd thousand other supporters won't be giving a damn whether they are penalties or deflections.

Outstanding statement that sums up how we're all feeling. The quickly issued statement yesterday was first out and then the club have waited to see the responses from others involved or in the media.  The sheer lack of condemnation has wound us all up and the club have basically followed our thoughts that enough is enough.  They can deny it all they want but the sleeping giant has arisen again and have shown everyone we are not going to be fucked with anymore.  Well played all concerned. . 

A guy on twitter sums it all up for me with the following post:

Got to agree they were pish and that's them with a bigger allocation than usual and tbh they were probably shocked at how good we are, I mean if they knew/ Thot they were going to get beat then they wouldn't have sold as many tickets so they came down genuinely thinking they would turn us over at ibrox and have a party, when are teams going to realise that no1 bar the bears celebrate and party at ibrox??

Kind of my point.If the fans want the club to move forward and finance better players etc etc they have to play their part where they can as well. I think we all know this game would have been a sell out if it was against the scum so lets not kid ourselves.

I seriously doubt whether some on this thread are actually Rangers fans.
We struggled in the second half, compared to the first, but it wasn't as if Raith were running all over us.
We get the same posters after a narrow win or draw saying how terrible we are, how we'd be destroyed in the top league. Well, we are currently 8 points clear and completed bossed the first half of the match. Anyone would think these fans want to have something to moan about.
Onwards and upwards as they used to say in the Boardroom section.

This thread is a shambles. We're on course to get back to the top league within a few months and it's just moan,criticise,moan.

We need to wake up though. The days of spending £2-3million on a couple players every year won't happen unless we seriously up our income. We can't rely on handouts, the club has to be run relatively self sustainably.
This is what we, the fans, should have learned through all this. That's not me letting DK, the board break promises or whatever, it is how I see us running the club.
Our income guarantees we'll be at the top of Scottish football fighting for leagues and cups. Yes, we also want Euro adventures but not by throwing money at it like before. But, by building a philosophy and work ethic as the base of our club around young, exciting, hungry players. All IMO of course.
This is what MW has been saying, and doing, since the beginning. It should come as no surprise.

So spending money guarantees success. 
If half the posters on this forum were in charge I reckon we would've paid Hearts £2m loan fee by now.

Why can't we just enjoy the fact that we have a manager who has us playing attractive football whilst using loans and bargain signings?  We can always go back to paying 1 million for James beauties etc or 400 k for bedoyas etc and play absolute garbage.  I know what I'm happier with.
posters go on about King saying this and that about investment but  never really questioned the whole bph and 25 million quotes which were down right lies.   King and his board have invested in the club as a whole, call it loans or what you will but they are and will only be repaid in shares.

I think people are a bit premature to be moaning and condemning the board and the lack of investment when the window still has four days to go.
l know Warburton has talked about how he likes getting business done early but circumstances change and he's also talked about how one deal going through somewhere else can have a domino effect on several clubs.
For all anybody knows Warburton had a midfielder lined up and he might have been out of reach a week ago (we've been linked with Corry Evans in the past couple of days for example) and maybe he is available now and Warburton can only afford either O'Halloran or the other guy.
Maybe he's done some wheeling and dealing because signing King on a cheap loan frees up more money in his budget to invest in a position we are weak in. Maybe it doesn't, I don't know but the reality is that neither does anybody else so why not wait and judge how good or bad our business has been after the window shuts rather than moan about it when the window is about to enter its busiest period?

He's a young guy who was the best young player in this division last season going by the stats. He will fit in well. I doubt the MOH deal will happen now and I think from now until the end of the window MW will be after a DM possibly on loan until crooks arrives in the summer. Let's not panic and start slating people left and right. Let's look at it as we have signed a good young player for the team. Who gives a fuck if he goes back to hearts better?. Let's do what MW says and focus on ourselves. Don't worry about other teams. Let other teams worry about us

I hope he's on the wall at defending freekicks. At least we will know what to sing.

For some people who call themselves Rangers fans I have never known such negativity.Warburton leaving,this guys not good enough,this team would destroy us,that team would destroy us, we were lucky to win, the other team deserved to win,if the other team had taken their chances, we need to break down other teams there must be supporters of the scum reading some of this shit and thinking what a bunch of cunts some are.Ive said before who needs enemies when you've got so called supporters like we are supposed to have.

Well, there you go, eh. This is why you should be very wary about forming conclusions based on not really knowing what's going on behind the scenes.
If that's true, then it's clearly not necesserily a matter of the Board on one one side failing MW on the other with a couple of transfers.

MW said in his press conference today there is cash available. 
MW also said he and his team have a hand in transfers and valuations
