Not much of an apology if you ask me. Still a boot in the stones for the SPFL. Which can only be viewed as good news.

We go into this season 12th in the coefficient table. Only the top 12 qualify. We have other clubs within a handful of points of us. With a prize fund starting at 25M, not to mention the prestige, qualification is huge for us.

As long as we make the CL play off round we are in a good place. It's either defeat, 5M in consolation and pot 1 in the Europa or victory and pot 3 in the CL. The big carrot is hanging around until we have secured our place in the club world cup which if achieved means an awful amount of cash.

Just have to hope that King's injury is not a season ending one. Balogun is a low cost replacement as 4th choice. Hopefully we wont need him.

Beale is building his own team. Unrealistic to expect him to sign household names. If I know nothing about them so be it. I shall judge them on performance only.

Unlike Killie Hearts can and will sell the tickets. Just looking after their own fans first which is something that cannot be complained about.

Winning the league is the big one. Make them try and qualify for the CL the following season. We go into the season with a decent chance of making the Club World Cup but we will need European football after Xmas I think. That's worth a lot of pennies and prestige which ought to make it easier to recruit. Can't wait for the season to start as both targets are achievable.

By the end of the pre season Beale will know his squad for next season. Those who are not going to feature will be advised to find new clubs. A job for their agents. We will have our own valuations of these players but I doubt we will play hard ball. Maybe 80% of our valuation will be enough in some cases.

The name meant nothing to me so I had to google Elyonoussi. He was with them for about one and a half seasons on a loan deal. By all means bring him back Brenda.

We are getting everything right this close season both on and off the park.

Concert tours are set up months in advance so it will take time until it becomes a popular venue. Starting with 13/14 hundred in each corner is a decent and affordable start. The sports bar looks to be a winner.

Watched the 1st half v Norway and my conclusion is that Scotland are a poor side. Jack and Soutter would have been better served resting up before next season (60 games?). If they have a good season for us then they will make the Euros anyway.

The only people who have ever seen the contract are Rangers and Bayern plus their lawyers. The rest is pure speculation on our part. Looks like we offered the 5M but either Bayern or the player said no and that has triggered the compensation clause. He gave us a good year but now we must move on.

I am a big fan of the Beale approach. He has no problem in clearing his desk for a day and going away to have a 1 to 1 with a potential signing. That is what I call good management. Both parties then understand one another much better.

Fair enough. You are as entitled to your opinion as I am to mine.. Domestic cups (nice to have) don't much matter to me. Winning the title and European football after Xmas does and at the moment I feel that Beale will do both.

This kind of pessimism annoys me. Not a ball has been kicked and you are writing us off. Check the bookies. They are far from overwhelming favs.
