Aribo played left back a couple of times for us and was excellent from what I remember. 

In an era when every other person in the country was considerably shorter too, so not really relevant.
The average height of a WW1 British soldier was 5ft5" (most Scots were even smaller) and now it's 5ft 10". Most people reading this are taller than their parents and grandparents.
 
Look around our league and see who our players are up against. Height is very much an issue for a defender. Yilmaz had some brilliant touches yesterday and contributed a huge amount, but little of it as a defender.
Watched him very closely against St Johnstone and he eventually gave up going up for headers as Kucheryavyi and Phillips were head and shoulders above him every time.
Might contradict myself here, but I think there is a place for his talent in our squad, but not as a full back - I don't know where else though?

In defence of alcohol, I have done some pretty dumb shit when I have been sober as well.

If it was offside, and it did go to VAR, then VAR screen in stadium should have shown what the actual decision was.
For a paying punter in a ground, VAR is fucking shite. Completely ruined any sense of excitement or anticipation.
You don't get the joy of celebrating a goal, you literally have to wait until the game restarts before you know if it's given.
The new delay in raising the offside flag's pish too, players union asking for that to revert to instant decisions.
Games need to be refereed to the same rules across the board.

A9 at Drumochter has been fucked nearly all day then the further south at Dunkled its been closed with flooding. Could've went the long way round A96/A90 but the A90 is closed too. Basically they didn't stand a chance today regardless what time they set off.

Been in my sick bed 48hrs with a chest infection. Forecast is biblical proportions of rain and storm force winds all day and this evening. Will get soaked walking to stadium and probably step in a puddle or some wet horse shite. Will no doubt get jammed in traffic again on the way back. The cunt two rows behind us has been yelling "second baw Rangers" a dozen times at every single game for the last 15 years and fucking Lammers is a shoe in to start. 🤣🤣
 
Why am I going tonight?
 
Because every minute of every game is a crucial step towards regaining this title and shoving every tim, every pundit and every alleged journalist back into their cupboards - and I can't wait to ram it down their bastard throats 😃😃😃
