Was talking about the proposed Ellis takeover , think it was about last march.. Maybe Rae and Bain are good mates i dont know, Just thought i would put it out there incase anyone could enlighten me.

Aye funnily enough , ah remember last year when the boy broke the exclusive on here about the takeover he got pelters about that. Does Alex Rae and Martin Bain have any business connections together. Just wondering as i saw them with another bloke having a drink in a quiet corner of my golf club about a month ago. Alex Rae is a member , didnt recognise the other bloke. Dunno what if any connections Rae would still have with the Gers.

I may be way off the mark here but with regards to all this scaremongering shite floating around, Surely if Rangers get hit with a massive tax bill they must be given the option of paying off over a long term. The HMRC will realise that demanding 30+ million or whatever it is in one hit will result in Catastrophic circumstances and would surely rather get all their cash back over a longer period. As I say I am no expert but that is the way it would seem to me. It just doesnt seem as clear cut to me as all these sources are making out. No doubt that Whyte took control for a £1 knowing that he would have to fork out considerably more later down the line. Obviously anything he can get it cut down to is a bonus for him/ Rangers. Also I hope his silence is a sign that he has something up his sleeve and when he does speak he rams it right intay the obsessive tims and that screw ball mcgillivan. I cannot see how all these leaks and speculations will be helping anyones case apart from ours. No surrender
