I honestly don't know how we managed to get him, what a talent. Dunno if I have seen another player turn as quick as he could. What might have been if he had not got that injury....

Kiernan & Wilson are not good enough. It's that simple. I genuinely can't remember them having a really good game. What Warburton & Weir see in them I do not know. We need a strong partnership and it's something we really should of had in place by now.

No McKay, did he even watch the last old firm game? What a lot of shite.

Hibs and Hearts were in Europe?! Must of missed that...

I think what's most encouraging is that we are clearly not near top gear thus far in any of these games.
What's most concerning is that we still, rather than cut a team apart with a killer ball quickly, tap it around 30 yards from goal and allow the opposition to defend with 10; then when we make the chances, too many guilt edged ones are not taken. Against the top teams week in week out this could become a real problem, particularly as you'll have teams like Aberdeen that will play the best game of their lives against us then the following week lose 3-0 to St Johnstone.
We need a better CB than Wilson/Kiernan and he should have pace and be able to command better than them too as we can't be too reliant on Hill playing brilliant in every dept. for a whole season. We all know that, though.
In terms of a forward I think with the players we have, the increase in possession/service that should see, we don't need an obvious 30 goals man but I do feel that with the crossing ability we have a 6 foot 3" CF/target man that scores frequently with his head and who muscles space when given the ball, will give us a hugely important alternative to things up front; no matter how good you are Plan A doesn't always work and when it fails someone to head home a cross/set-piece could be all the difference.
We'll have to see what the manager goes for and what actually happens but we're pretty much a good CB away from a challenge at least (assuming they don't go out and sign internationals to ensure victory).
In the meantime amuse yourselves with the Aberdeen fans predictions for the season -> http://boards.footymad.net/showthread.php?t=38163963
Was looking at that earlier. They really are the shitest of shite cunts, so much bitterness. Have they forgotten how many times their own team shat it last season..every opportunity to pull away from Septic..bottled. I truly hope we give them an absolute doing!!

Another good display. Rossiter was class when he came on.
Need to give Waghorn time to prove himself against the Prem teams but I am still to be convinced that he's clinical enough to be our main goalscorer. I think we will be seeing another striker come in soon..

Rangers play one way, no teams in Scotland can cope, Celtic found that out last year, it will seem teams sit in and defend against us but the way we play makes it seem that way. from the bottom division to the top, teams will be in defensive mode because Rangers play tika taka football. we might be weak in defence but we are entertaining. and we will try and score more than our opposition.
Pretty much this. Only Celtic and Aberdeen will try play attacking against us I reckon. Hearts are more a physical hoofball type of team which will be a different type of challenge for us.

Im pretty sure the answer is no. He was by all accounts a woeful CB. If one of our CB's gets sent off and we've used all 3 subs im sure he can be utilised, but from what I have heard he's Kiernan levels of incompetence as CB.
This is a bit worrying, I was under the impression we could use him there. Shame.
We really really really need new CB's!

Some of his touches oozed with class the day. Really excited to see what he will do this season.
-
Both him and Barton will be cutting defences wide open this season..
-
Another cracking finish!
-
The handbags between Sutton & Stewart is embarrassing..fuckin sort it out BT.
-
And there is the Tav dilemma..can't defend but can pull of stuff like that. Great strike.
Wtf is Sutton talking about, pretty much just taking the piss out of Rangers players warm up methods. Seriously BT, were you that desperate you employed this fucking tool?
-
Should of been a pen/freekick for Miller. Bar a few nice touches from Mckay it's been a pretty dire first half. Look forward to seeing some of the new guys come on.
-
Oooo unlucky Waghorn, close one.
-
Is Tav on crack? He looks so uncomfortable in that position. I really would consider moving him further up the park in future games.
-
Millers looking sharp and moving around a lot..hopefully going to be another good season for him

50th fucking hell...and they seen fit to keep Strachan on. Unbelievable. Actually, no it's not.
-
Derek Riordan? Best finisher in Scotland and pumped Strachans daughter
-
Not pretty in the slightest but they got the job done and fair play to them for seeing it out. The 'bigger' teams just did not do enough.
-
Amazing performance. Returning 148mph serves like it's normal. Another Grand Slam under Lendl...funny that. Has such a great mental effect on him.
-
Last night was funny as fuck. That Steve Mclaren video just typifies everything England are - arrogant, which is why people don't like them. If they had a decent manager with the group of players they have they could actually do alright....I think?
-
Hard to tell as we don't know who 'they' will bring in. I have a good feeling though and hopefully 55 will be ours come next year.

We deserve so much more/better. I can only hope that in the coming years we will see change that can benefit us financially so it properly reflects our clubs stature.
