Rangers did not cheat anyone! SDM used a perfectly legal loophole as many MPs etc still do! HMRC are trying to bring in a RETROSPECTIVE LAW which makes no sense as accounts were public during those years and HMRC never complained.Now 14 years later they want something initiated in 2001 declared illegal! Utter madness! Even if the final outcome is that EBTs were tax liable common sense should mean it can only apply to EBTs from the date of the court decision forward,not 14 years ago when HMRC condoned it by not challenging it at the time!
